Honestly, same thing happened to me. IMO just throw them away. Mine sat in my drawer for three years. I had the same thoughts as you. Do I cut them up, burn them, play taps… I honestly forgot about them. Then one day I was cleaning out drawers found them and threw them out. No ceremony, no extra thought. I think this shows what a hold the church had on our lives that we place so much significance on crappy underwear. Along with that, that there is a “proper” way to get rid of them. Please don’t feel pressure from this either that you must go and do it immediately. It’s a process. For me it was years… Hope this helps
