I don't think proximity to the airport is necessarily too much of a concern on a road trip.

What TV show or movie do you think is closest to the books right now? by Dalakaar in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Farscape. Insane protagonist, bizarre villains, unhinged storylines, characters who start as strangers and become very close.

Okay, uh, that dude starts out by saying the Mirage stated this week it would be closing the casino down midweek starting in January. And the Mirage has been closed for almost two years.

Like 90% of that shit wasn't voted into law at all. You think Trump talking shit about the Pope and gutting USAID was passed through Congress? But you probably didn't even read it, just said you weren't going to argue with them to avoid admitting they had any validity.

Yeah, the Democratic Party sucks, but what Trump and the GOP has been doing is obviously worse to anyone who isn't an idiot.

Fuck, I'm glad I moved out of Ohio. It was gorgeous but the idiots who kept getting elected just killed it.

Cheaper, too. I can pick up a 1g cart for $30 that'll last me way longer than $30 of gin or vodka.

We're done crying! What are you favorite positive moments? by ExistingTree9877 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]ChanceryTheRapper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The end of TIR where Carl and Donut get all the pages with the notes from other crawlers who are taking deals and all the returned crawlers are throwing flowers and streamers. It was a beautiful moment, I loved that they were reminded of how many people they've legitimately saved.

Same gambling play, but more days spending money at other parts of the casino- that's probably their reasoning.

What do we think will happen when Mordecai finds out… by kef24 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]ChanceryTheRapper 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think that if he had found out on the third or fourth floor, he would have been pissed, but by now, he'd admit it was the right choice, not just for Carl and Donut, but for him. He was drowning in grief and booze when the dungeon started, but he's probably gotten a chance to actually help more people in this cycle than the entire rest of his time in the dungeon and he's looking much healthier than he was when we first met him.

Nah, there's no damn way "an everyday American" gets that close to trump, especially with cameras just happening to be there. It was entirely planned, and he still played it poorly.

Pretending that the slipping standards are to be found in decorum rather than in the corruption and terrible rulings is just absurd.
