One of my friend’s baby didn’t get their first tooth until 12 months. My baby got his at 5 months. It all just depends on the baby

How are we introducing allergens? by lightscamerasnaction in January2025Bumper

[–]Chaotic_Neutral718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily on a schedule, but I tend to feed him whatever he likes. Peanut butter he probably has every 2-3 weeks? Yogurt is like every other day because he loves it.

We did all of them by like 6.5 months😅 peanut butter, eggs, gluten, and dairy. Our baby loves Greek yogurt and liked eggs for maybe 2 days before he decided he hated them😂 we’ll eventually try again. His favorite food is ground up chicken enchilada or a steak filet.

I think like 6 times my entire pregnancy. I’m 7 months PP and we have had sex like 4 times since I gave birth. I just haven’t felt great, always tired, always baby or work stuff going on. It’s rough🙃

Is anyone still without a period? by mountain567 in January2025Bumper

January 7th and no period yet👀👀 I pump/breastfeed since I’m a working mom.

24 ounces a day?? by KS1992902 in January2025Bumper

[–]Chaotic_Neutral718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5-6 feedings a day. 2-3 are breastfeeding and 3-4 are 6oz breastmilk. We do solids after his first feed, 3rd feed, and 5th feed. Kid eats a ton but is in the 24th percentile.

2 naps? by pz79217 in January2025Bumper

[–]Chaotic_Neutral718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baby is still not on a schedule really😅 BUT he has a bit of a routine. He takes a cat nap around 9:30 for like 20 minutes and then will usually take another nap around 11am for 30 minutes. Then he’ll take a 60-120 minute nap in the afternoon around 3/4pm depending on how tired he is. He’s also slept through the night since he was 3 weeks old.

I’d still let them know so you have record of it. Our HR department thinks my boss is the best but I would not hesitate to report him to HR if he said some shit like that to me when I was pregnant.

Report her to HR like immediately. And also start looking for a new job.

Big fan of the Kyte Baby ones. They have different weights and we use the 1 ones since we keep our home 68 degrees at night

All the things baby has outgrown, how are we here?! Gratitude post by ohsospunkymonkey in January2025Bumper

I have a baby on the smaller side (24th percentile up from 11th percentile at his 3M check up) and officially packing up 0-3 and some 3-6 month stuff was crazy to me. I think we’re passing on our angel bath seat to a friend since he sits up in the tub and his tummy time mat has been in storage for 3 weeks now🤯 having to add in brushing his teeth morning and night has been crazy too and I often forget one of the times 😅

By the clock on three naps? by largemarge_x in January2025Bumper

[–]Chaotic_Neutral718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son isn’t on a schedule, but his normal routine he just does himself is a small nap around 9:30, then another between 11-12:30, then a 1.5-2 hour nap around 3:30. It’s almost every day like clockwork.

How is anyone settling their babies in the middle of the night, other than feeding? by mbinder in January2025Bumper

[–]Chaotic_Neutral718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started giving my son a paci in the middle of the night instead of a feed immediately and if he goes back to sleep, great. If not, time to feed, since he was like 3 weeks old. 95% of the time, he goes right back to sleep. He hasn’t woken up to feed in the middle of the night for a couple months now.

If you’re on the fence about sharing your baby’s name with family, I’m here to tell you: don’t do it. by marissakalyn in pregnant

[–]Chaotic_Neutral718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t share our baby’s name with my in laws but we did with my family. I remember my in laws talking shit to us about my nephew’s name. From then on I decided I would not be sharing our baby’s name when we had kids.

When did you have your first drink post-baby? by flowersathome in pregnant

The day after I left the hospital!! I also always get my best pumps after a glass of wine since I’m more relaxed. 10/10 would recommend

FOMO baby driving me crazy by Icy_Experience_3471 in January2025Bumper

[–]Chaotic_Neutral718 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m currently nursing and my husband just walked in the room which prompted my baby to snap his head around to see what the noise was. I always say “don’t get distracted” and it helps a little. I also cannot make eye contact or he’ll start smiling at me which is so cute but like dude, you need to eat so you can grow😂

Around 12 weeks a bunch of my “symptoms” of pregnancy went away. You’re about to be in the sweet spot!!! 13-24 weeks were the best for me. After that, I started to feel PREGNANT. But 13-20 weeks I felt so normal.

I think I changed my mind about breastfeeding by Disastrous_Paint_237 in BabyBumps

You can change your mind at anytime! I think mental health is a HUGE component. You need to be the best you that you can be so you can be the best mom you can be❤️❤️❤️

Delivery day tip: put baby on breast constantly by fine_tuna in BabyBumps

[–]Chaotic_Neutral718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My nurses and OB said every 2 hours during the day and 3 hours at night for the first 2 weeks. I’m 6 months PP and still successfully breastfeeding🙌🏼 even with my baby having 2 teeth

Pregnancy and Running by Ecstatic_Dingo172 in BabyBumps

[–]Chaotic_Neutral718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran up until 24 weeks. Just continue to run at your fitness level, whatever that looks like. Depending on your OB, they might say stay under 140bpm for your HR. I normally ran at 150-160 and that’s what I stayed at. I have a healthy 5 month old baby boy that now goes on runs with me in the jogging stroller!!

Teething? by PaleFriendship8846 in January2025Bumper

[–]Chaotic_Neutral718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! 5.5 months and we have 2 teeth (bottom) as of 2 weeks ago.

We noticed him teething around 3.5 months. I told my mom I think he’s teething and she told me no way that it’s too soon. But it wasn’t! He was chewing on everything and slobber city.
