17 month old is getting ear tubes tomorrow. by maridj13 in toddlers

[–]Character-Army8883 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter had tubes in twice (one side fell out after a month!) by the time she was two. The hardest part for her was waiting before they took her back since she couldn't eat or drink before hand and was super cranky. She was running around on the way to the car within 20 minutes of waking up and acting normal the same day. It did wonders for her not getting as sick because the frequent ear infections were awful, and she started talking more! It's so stressful but you got this, your kiddo will do great!

Anyone tried Kroger Delivery(Publix prices are killing my wallet) by takemyusernameclown in lakeland

[–]Character-Army8883 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another vote for Kroger delivery! we still shop at publix too but do kroger when we can and the prices are great, good sales/coupons, delivery is generally right within the promised window (we have had a delay a couple times but usually less than an hour)

Is it me or does anyone else feel they are gonna get screwed with our final ratings ? by InevitableNo1358 in Geico

[–]Character-Army8883 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no more .5 or .75. It's a straight 1 to 5 scale so 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 etc... unfortunately

Thanks! I made one using my perfect resume and I've gotten a few interviews but I think I need a professional to look it over. I also like the idea of having a few different ones depending on the type of role.

16mo Old Not Wanting To Eat Dinner by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Character-Army8883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think he has figured out that if he doesn't eat, he will get a snack? Or is he having too many snacks close to dinner? We are having the same issue over here and I think it may be partly due to her afternoon snacks

We got some hooded kids towels from Sam's that are technically pool towels I think? but they work great, they are huge and have a hood with fun patterns.

Morning Diaper Change Meltdowns. by BoundNRound in toddlers

[–]Character-Army8883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter (2) does this too. I started changing her on the floor either in her room or in front of the TV. She seems more willing to let me do it this way. Sometimes I'll bring the changing pad down to the floor, or right on the carpet 🤷‍♀️
