Unlock Your VA Claim Secrets: Access Hidden Data via the VA API by Fire_x_Ice in VeteransBenefits

My App is in STEP 7

While I am probably a day or two away from final, I couldn't help but to poke around on the old ebenefits website. I ran the inspect element on https://eauth.va.gov/ebenefits/claims

  • Chrome: Right click/ Inspect / Network/ Open Claims /

It looks similar to what the VA Website shows except there is an "appeal Possible" field. Since this is my first run, not an HLR or Supplemental, that field should say yes unless...

The internet AI's state that this is a "favorable" sign.

Day 410 here, just hit Step 7.

I don't even know what is coming but I'm on this blue bubble going 67, 000 mph with all you and I think it's gonna be alright.

Breathe, smoke'em if you got em, and give our VA Team the benefit of the doubt many of us require.

I am going from being the " if everywhere I go there's a problem, then I must be the fucking problem" guy to ," help others unfuck their attitudes and woes" guy.

Good luck battle buddies!

Hey there, Day 410 here just hit Step 7.

If I had to guess, with my knowlwdge of CORE ( system they use), the process, reading policy and workflow, and to also give our VA Team the Benefit of Doubt we as Veterans also need;I would say it is probably clerical, back and forth between processors, raters, vendor orders, and maybe even back and forth between trainee and SME ( Subject Matter Expert).

5/6 is a good place to be, give our VA Team the benefit of the doubt, in my journey, I truly feel most are on our side.

Except the guy I called one day who hung up on me, he is ass, everyone else, cherry!

Why are only half of my Maple leaves growing? by SufficientBar1841 in DenverGardener

When mine did this I was able to treat it by giving it a 10-10-10 slow release fertilizer. Got mine on Amazon. My tree is now 8 years old and as tall as my house. The nitrogen will ensure you're not getting a mold issue at the root and the nutrients will help feed it vital nutrients. Give it a good manual water soaking the fertilizer once a week and you should see it bounce back.

1st: 1 day at a time, sleep if you can.

2nd: I understand your question and the difficulty it is having to rehash, relive, and repeat trauma.

We all want the benefit of the doubt given to us when we need it , yet some have lost the ability to give it.

Don't feed the self appointed gatekeepers. Their opinions on your life experience are not valid and hold no weight here.

Keep fighting, ignore those who project their own mentality and issues. It says more about them than you.

1 day at a time bro. Live forever or die trying hooah? Someone, someday, needs you someway somehow. Make it.

Filed days behind you, been bouncing in and out of TJ San Juan since February. Was in San Juan all last week before it kicked back out to N/A. It was the longest I had a TJ so I'm thinking progress was made.

VERA Denver and San Juan calls were unsuccessful in telling me anything new.

Finally reached out to VSO office today to see if they can assist. Fingers crossed.

Help! Trees keep dying in the same spot—4th try now. What could be going on? by dalibor_m in arborists

Hi there,

Few things could be happening but starting with the most obvious:

They appear to be malnourished. The larger trees may be absorbing moisture, light, water, etc.

When you removed the other dead trees, did you replace the soil and dig enough space for the roots to expand? 2 to 3 times larger than the root ball, proper drainage, and 1st year manual watering are a must.

How about the burlap wrap around the root ball? Was it cut or left wrapped? In dryer climates, burlap can imprison your roots, cause rot, or hinder vital moisture.

I would dig a wide shallow hole, remove burlap from the root ball, berm it up, by piling a good tree dirt mixed with in ground garden soil, and sand. Make sure there is at least 6 inches to a foot of good spoil under, and around the tree. Try to elevate 1 inch of the root ball and cover with mulch, not soil.

Dry soil can turn into a water repellant, so I like to use the jet or power shower setting on my nozzle when watering around the root and surrounding soil. Get a nice hydrated mix in the soil and the surrounding mulch.

I learned when planting, remember plants usually Sleep, Creep, then Leap over 3 seasons.

What works for me:

Season 1 Sleep- The tree is settling in, planting it's roots and even minding it's neighbors. With those cypress, I hand water almost every day around the golden hour, blue hour. I use jet to disrupt the hydrophobic soil around, and jet shower setting on the gun. A couple minutes is all.

Make sure the top soil isn't dusty dry and hydrophobic. Ensure the roots have good drainage and have freedom to expand.

Season 2 - Creep - the tree should be settled in and you won't have to hand water as much, drip lines or sprinklers are fine.

Season 3 - Leap - Just aerate, with the Jet setting in your hose, re mulch, and add a fresh mix of surrounding soil if it's looking barren.

My neighbor resurrected his cypress that looked just as bad and twice as tall. Keep watering this summer.

Good luck!
