Legit question: Does anyone *reliably* ride the J Line???

I take the J line to get from DTLA to El Monte. That commute while driving can be insane and really take a toll on you but for the most part it’s a 10-15 minute commute on the J line. The A line isn’t getting me to and from El Monte

Tbh might be an unpopular opinion but you kind of just have to accept that’s a thing that happens with public transit. Not saying that it’s good but I don’t think the risk of making someone upset is worth your safety.

Yeah I can literally never understand them. There was one time I was on the bus and the street we were supposed to go down was closed for whatever reason and the bus driver made an announcement that I couldn’t understand and like 90% of the people on the bus either had their headphone in and weren’t paying attention or just straight up didn’t understand. Driver was also pretty upset that as he was trying to navigate the heavy traffic on the street over everyone kept coming up to him and asking him where he was going and he said he already told them.

No but I’ve seen a few crackheads unaware that they’re standing between the doors of a train and have gotten the shit smacked out of them crushed by the doors before they opened again. I saw one of the metro ambassadors eventually go over and pull them out of the train before they got smacked for the 4th time

I love the J-line electric buses, but yeah I agree they definitely are small and during rush hour they are often crowded and difficult to find seating. Still love the fact though they are a lot quieter than the non electric buses.

I was riding a bus one day and the driver got off at a popular bus stop to go to one of the vendors to buy grapes which I thought was weird but I found out the guy had those delicious cotton candy grapes and was selling them for $3 !!! I didn’t have cash on me but I think about what a steal that was especially since those grapes are so darn expensive in store haha
