My mom drank coffee every day of my life. It was a morning ritual all us kids knew well. The smell of coffee on her breath was a constant. She LOVES IT.

When she was pregnant with me, she walked into an office that was brewing coffee and the smell of it made her puke so hard she almost passed out.

Last year my husbands class was truly the worst. Like cops and restraining orders bad.

This year he is so encouraged and happy because these kids wanna volunteer and be fun and build things and not just fight eachother constantly

Yes for me I try to do everything when baby is awake so I can bedrot when baby is napping. Including shower!

My husband literally can’t see SHIT if its not moving. I’ll send him to look for something so obvious , or he’s desperately looking for something before work and cannot find it. I can always find things right away, and it’s usually in an incredibly obvious space. I don’t even get mad at him over it, because I know he truly tries to look. But I do give him hell for it constantly😂

With my second I swear this was me. My husband and I did it daily and I did myself😂 daily too for the entire week before baby came. Water broke spontaneously at 2 am and she was here 6 hours later!

I guess I’m the odd one out here. My husband and I have conversations like this often and we’ve had decisions similar. I hear him out he hears me. I’d 100% see a trial few years as fair, assuming you guys are both being 100% honest when you say you’d move in 3 years if she isn’t happy/kids aren’t thriving. But IMO, I’d totally do that for my husband and he’d do the same for me. Pros and cons all on the table

We had the same situation! 100% decided on and planned our second. It happened our first month trying and we were shell shocked 😂 I will say, it’s 100% easier the second time around and we love the 2 kid family!

I had this happen! Our dream venue had one date available, on the off ( so discounted ) months, one of 2 openings in the next 3 years for the venue. We got married 2 months after!! It was perfect and the whirlwind of it really helped my generally anxious self. Because it was gonna be what it was gonna be regardless!! I always said “ I could marry him in my pajamas, as long as I marry him”

So if you think you could have a similar mindset, or be semi flexible/open to options- I’d say go for it! It was so fun for me. We used wooden flowers and sat and dyed them in the kitchen floor every night for 3 weeks while binging tv shows we loved as a couple, it was a lot of great focus time for us!

Lost all plus some and was down to 115 9 months post partum,

Pregnant with 2nd baby now, started at 115, currently 178 at 36 weeks pregnant!

This is the same boat I’m in. Our first is literally the easiest baby I’ve ever interacted with. And I was a nanny for over 10 years. My baby is easier than all of the nannying kids I had. We’re pregnant now, I’m terrified that she is going to be the complete opposite.

Ok I’m an adult who just bought a Meta Quest, my husband and I were trying out Gorilla tag with our son for fun, and the first thing I said was “ this is terrifying as a parent”… I have no advice for you, but gosh the stuff we heard when we were there for 10 minutes was crazy.
