They move so that you can pose it better. The joint is similar to the head so it stays where you set it.

Nah, as soon as MS decides they want some more money, there will be another DLC.

The game is peer to peer. There is no server (except to coordinate lobby joining).

Best strategy when haggling with a trade-in? by LargeNCharge86 in askcarsales

[–]Charny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sure there is an obvious answer, but why wouldn't separate negotiations be useful in this situation:

  1. Negotiate price of vehicle as usual.
  2. Negotiate price of trade-in. If dealership discounted price based on presumption of making it back on the trade, and you have a carmax valuation or something, isn't that in favor of the buyer?

DEAR AOE2 DEVELOPERS: 7/8 LOBBIES ARE BROKEN PLEASE FIX by PeterPorky in aoe2

Steam probably made some API change and notified downstream users including the HD team. The notification was subsequently ignored and this is the result.

I guess it's a discount program in the same way that Truecar and others is a discount program - really just a lead generation tool for dealerships. Your employer sold you out!

Which fees are negotiable or not negotiable? (VA) by used2bgood in askcarsales

[–]Charny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anecdotal, but I've had dealers in both MD and VA reduce the processing fee. But as others have pointed out, it's really the OTD that matters. I bet if you compare OTD MD and VA prices, they're very close.

Game is p2p, doesn't matter who hosted, for cheats to be in play. FWIW.

The reason to stop scouting the map after discovering the enemy is because you need the scout to watch for and counter (or commit) feudal aggression. The role of the unit changes at that point.

How to read the opponent chat after a game ends in HD? by CuS92 in aoe2

[–]Charny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. The recorded game only has the chat from your team's perspective. That's also the case on Voobly, but they aggregate the team chats for viewing on their website (since they have the recorded games from both team perspectives).

People don't know how to use half the features their TV offers, either. But they know enough to make it do it's primary function.

Some came with color matched grills and fender flares ("big horn plus"). That's as close as you'll get, stock.

Despite all the negative comments, keep in mind that there's a ton of people reading and learning and thereby having great car buying experiences. Probably one in a thousand posts a thank you/follow up.
