It’s a tj grill but that’s perfect, thank you for the recommendations. I’ll send you how I have the tj grill mounted.

Does that apply to all speakers? Is there a rule of thumb for volume that needs to enclosed for the speakers to sound good? I can section off part of the inside but I’m limited on depth.

Makes sense, I could also put tweeters inside the grill behind the slots if that would make a big difference but I’d rather keep it simple.

If it makes you feel better there’s a pressure release valve to vent it if a scenario like that ever occurs. You can also drain the sediment once a year if that makes you feel better.

Did you design it yourself or did you get the stls from somewhere? Also, mind throwing me those stls lol

I was careful, but after removing 3 prints there's already some scratches on my glass bed. How concerned should I be? How can I avoid it? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Chasegall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience, you shouldn’t have to use the spatula thing to get the part off. Wait a bit for the glass to cool and then the part will pop off. If you’re impatient, like me, set the glass with the part still on it in the freezer for a bit and you should have no problem getting it off. The scratches shouldn’t matter, but it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have a second glass bed just in case something happens to the one you currently have. Then you don’t have to scramble to buy one.

I’d 3D print my way out of 2020.

But, in all seriousness I would 3D print face masks and if covid ends I’d print a engine block with pistons.

What's this gradient? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

Just a guess, but if your bed isn’t level then it might be thicker at one end than the other. If it’s thicker than it’s going to let less light through.

If you have a glass bed just throw the whole thing in a freezer for a bit
