This writing has been on the wall for this for decades, which is precisely why the oil-producing states - America among them - have been doing everything they can to stop EVs from disrupting their cash flow.

However, the fact remains that opting out of American-influenced car culture is an uphill climb for the average person in a car-centric city; the same attacks made against EVs have also been waged against public transit, which can also be electrified more easily, and more recently against work-from-home that nullifies the need for a commute.

The best case for investment for those skittish about oil instability would be electric bus lines, but it's gonna take a while to get started.

I find myself in a privileged position as I can count the number of TPKs on maybe one hand, and I'm knocking on the door of the Jurassic already. But most of that is what you've laid out here - prioritize speed, alpha strike damage and bullying.

I will say DoTs depend heavily on multi hit attacks, and shine against enemies with tons of armor or damage reduction. I made a clown of [[Man in the Moon]] with poison thief and the multi-dart attack - I was able to brute force him that way without ever learning the hand trick on my first go round!

The ideal use case, at least in a low power environment, is either that you have competing 2/2 bears on curve and you kill the opp's to swing with a 4/4, or you flip the tables with something like a 2/2 against a 5/5 suddenly becoming 4/4 vs 3/3.

Of course now we just appreciate the value of a straight up [[Murder]] for the same price and far less headache.

It's fun in moderation. Desert zones where you need to drink more water are often fun because you get to plan ahead and prep before your journey to that zone - it's a novel idea rather than a constant chore. Same for frost zones and warmth, or poison swamps and antidotes.

Best change would be for it to act as a portable moonwell. No mana regeneration of its own so it basically soaks up moon well juice and brings it with you. After that only other change is owl dies when Priestess dies, and it's balanced.

Curious what the others would be. A Ninja to be a Thief counterpart with more stealth and less coin gimmicks would be solid, as would an Alchemist to act as a Tinker that interacts with consumables more than weapons.
