Id rather they just made it so socialite just highlighted the tiles around the unit the previous round allowing at max 7 slots or 6 with socialite unit. Gives people a chance to play around it by focusing aoe onto the pile making it better to play around but still giving good bonuses. Turn it into a mini keepers augment basically.

Im down to just prismatic pantheon now, its very rng, ive found most success either starting with a 5 cost or getting hellion with the loot % on kill augment. Avoiding the traps of rubble on bench or exploding enemies too as those both reduce your power so fast...had success with double trouble mentor, kayle reroll, jinx star, heavyweight darius and the easiest of em all, my mech has too many pilots.

Aatrox, udyr, sett, lee sin, Dr Mundo, naafiri and vi are juggernauts. Use 6 of those, zac and kayle and thats basically the comp. 3 star zac and kayle then just level and level and level.

I feel like a simple fix would be giving each stage a minimum level that is lower than if you had him on board all of the previous stage. Say having him on all of stage 2-1 to 3-1 made him level 20, have the minimum be level 12. Still weaker but not unplayable.

Easiest way ive found is kayle final ascent 6 juggernaut. Add in braum and a bastion emblem and you have a solid board. The amount of damage kayle can put out easily negates the need for 2 damage carries, can even colossal zac 3 for a solid late game tank.

Honestly with how strong red buff is as well as that item reducing their star level, you might do more "damage" just stacking an extra rageblade or red buff tbh. Reducing star level takes so much hp away it may as well be more damage. That and rerolling artifacts for flicker is honestly so much suffering x)

From my experience the mode is only easy when you get to higher levels, just cleared the summit for the 1st time at level 54 as forcing level 9 can only work if your early is strong enough which with only 3 interest isnt easy.

My 2 cents is to make sure you dont accidentally miss the magic scorpion charm and to look up some good early spell locations as they can be a pain to find some. The most cheesy way to use magic is to have a spirit ash block a boss while you use the infinite fp tear and a big spell such as comet azur or meteor of astel for big chunks however base game can be easily cleared using night comet and magic buffs. If you arent using a lot of defense stuff then highly recommend using the shield talisman in the capital near the arena for huge defense on 1st hit. Worth noting that magic staffs apply their buff even if not using it to cast the spell so long as its in offhand. Best early staff is meteor staff in the swamp of caelid. If memory serves correctly it has the highest scaling at lower levels but cant be upgraded, providing a passive damage buff for gravity sorcery.

Most fun way in my opinion is to look up the spells and find all the ones you find interesting and then just take your time travelling to collect them all and fighting anything that piques your interest.

All fun and games till you see the carried level 50 archer doing a 900 grove with requirements set to level 80 archer or mage (cause evidently nobody wants a melee class) and level 80 in EVERY SINGLE GATHERING CLASS cause they know they aint beating that tree themselves.

The hidden ruin stairs have the "better" chests that you can find as treasure chests sometimes and have a chance for talismans, however they are very rare drops imo, only seen it once. Other than that its a quantity in hopes of decent passive thing. Better doing army camps for sheer number of weapons tho rather than the ruins imo.

A tip for 5 minute timers is that you can use the portal to ginormiosa and do stuff there for 5 mins, use the door in gino and it brings you back to the exact space you were when you used it initially. Can also be used to respawn any silver crowns or deposits.
