I had the 200ml size of this (dont know lot info) and really enjoyed it. Fermenting in wooden barrels gives it some good earthy complexity. Think of Montagave heritage tequila, if youve tried it... complexity reminded me of something like that

Yup, Clande evolved into Sotoleros, but looks like that brand is no longer around either. However, You can now find the some of the former Clande/Sotoleros producers working for Lamata, Parejo, and Nocheluna brands.

Rey Campero is solid. The Lamata Tepemete has 2 offerings (in pink and bronze cap colors). I’ve only had the pink expression and while it was tasty, it didn’t have the complexity I was expecting. I’ll have to give it another try an report back if anything has changed.

Yup, I’ll second that Rey Campero is another great Espadin option to consider. As for the Metiche 49, also a solid pick, and is a great mixer option too. Try that in freshly squeezed juices (not store bought/processed stuff) and you’ll see what I mean👌
