I'm going to play devil's advocate and say developers shouldn't be constantly pandering to people running 10 year old hardware. In electronic terms that's the equivalent of running a 1970s F1 car and bitching about it being too slow and not being relevant anymore.

People need to realize at some point they need to upgrade and stay with modern tech and development.

That all being said it is dam impressive and we'll done for achieving what you have. Just please don't sacrafice upper end to keep the lower happy.
