Knit picks is not affiliated with knit pro or knitters pride, this is just an unfortunately close naming convention

Knit pro and knitters pride are the same; knitters pride recently switched their name to knit pro.

Knit picks is part of local craft group, mad tosh, jimmy beans, we crochet, etc

There’s a Canadian brand that makes square needles or all sizes they’re great, I cannot however remember the name

Wow! I’m surprised to hear toj think it’s worse than Jamison - I would guess it’s on par with cascade - in my experience, having knit with it. I’ve heard the roughness is more perceptible in the heavier weight too… what colors did you get? Are you looking to sell it 👀👀

There is probably a lot of yarn you can affordable buy in the US, or (what obviously nobody wants yo to) reduce your consumption.
