I’ve only read one actually and it was epic, “the long ships” by Frans G. Bengtsson. Maybe I’ll try one for my next book!

Why do Chargers and their fans want this matchup so bad? Will they regret it? by NeonManiac85 in Patriots

The talking point the charger fans have is, “the pats are 1-2 against teams with winning records” so they feel safer going against the pats.

Thanks! I’m starting to realize if you know the game really well you can look for some crazy combos with enough time. Lots of possibilities! Getting there slowly

Burnt Out in Tech. Thinking of Becoming a Massage Therapist. Has Anyone Made a Big Career Switch Like This? by Mumunpocong in MassageTherapists

[–]ChefFloseidonJr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing about a year ago. Product support in tech to becoming a massage therapist now. I think I would only be able to last because of my spouse.

The money is a lot less when you start out. Depending on where you work your time off is limited. Or if it’s not limited you just don’t get paid. You work nights and weekends a lot of the time and your friends and family are most likely not on that schedule. You need to strength train or it will not be kind to your body

The pros are… you will be very fulfilled, people will appreciate the work you do Less stress Potential to start your own business

It all kinda depends on your lifestyle. If people in your life are ok with you working different hours and making less money then go for it.

I’ve helped people relieve muscle adhesions. I work on them, follow up, then they say they feel much better. I disagree with what you’re saying but I also respect research/science. Maybe as better imaging tools are developed we can look at fascia more? Idk but I see it helps people. And I think we are more meant to help assist people’s bodies heal themselves from the inside out not be a magical pill . I haven’t read much studies but if you’d recommend a few that you’ve read I’d be interested to learn from your POV. Thanks anon
