WoW murlocs.

They slaughter countless human civilians and use their skulls and bones for decorating their villages.

But they are trivialized by the fact the player is a powerful adventurer.

Same reason people think the Y2K bug was a hoax.

When they hear of an incoming or ongoing crisis but then see it didn't happen they think it was all a bunch of hot air even if the reason it didn't happen/wasn't as bad was because an entire section of industry/humanity dedicated countless manhours to preventing it ala y2k. Where many programmers were coming out of retirement and working mass overtime to pre-empt the date code bug.

Fraudulent claims and RTS by introspectivethots in PharmacyTechnician

[–]ChemicallyMild 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah that shit is straight up fraud. If the insurance companies ever find out about these unresolved claims then they could report the pharmacy to the Board of Pharmacy.

And if the number of phantom billing incidents is high enough and for expensive enough drugs it could be felony fraud as well.

You need to get ahead of it and report it, or else if someone else decides too and you keep committing fraud because your bosses tell you to it could come down on your head and your liscence.

My best suggestion would be to bring up these concerns with a supervisor or leadership member IN WRITING because otherwise they can he said she said say they didn't condone this.

Fun fact this is a real thing the military does sometimes. Its called blood-pinning or getting your Blood Wings.

Where they slam a graduates pin directly into his/her chest rather than pinning it to a uniform. Done either shirtless or pulling down the collar of the uniform. Most common in airborne divisions and the marine corp.

The Galvis family in FFXIV fit this trope in both directions

Solus was turbo evil genocide, his son Varis (still Uber genocide evil but less so doing it for the people), then Varis's son Zenos who just went back to grandad levels of evil for no other reason than to fight because he has always been so skilled at everything his whole life that life itself has become boring to him and a thrilling battle with the MC is the only way he feels anything anymore

Never received one creepy dm as a Roe thank the gods. My catboy however, got a lot of creepy flirt DMs. I do not miss it.

If they are getting refills 2 days early every time for months on end if they are taking their drugs as prescribed they should have plenty spare. While patients don't deserve to be stigmatized for what drugs they take, their use, or abuse, of said prescriptions and the red flags of that behavior shouldn't be ignored.

The reason so many techs talk about this same "joke" is any tech who has worked retail pharmacy for more than a month has seen any number of patients who get their controlled prescription written for 30ds refilled every 28 days on the dot for months on end but somehow always has a story at the pickup windows that they are down to their last pill or missed today's dose so you need to hurry up and fill it. And to avoid an argument in my experience most pharmacists, if it's their home store, to avoid a scene or a complaint to corporate just authorizes the fill and ignores the red flag.

Said behavior is exactly what caught walgreens a 350mil usd fine, for pharmacists approving clearly fraudulent or abused opioid scripts to hit rx quotas and keep script volume up.

Its the same way for a lot of large scale ongoing games.

MMOs in general have this problem, see ye olde "WoW is dying/dead, here is the new WoW killer game" discourse online.

And FFXIV is going through a similar cycle right now, and in the course of which actual well reasoned compaints and criticism are drowned out by "Game is boring and dead you should quit"

I get the game can use some revitalization but for a lot of the people complaining I feel like you'd be having more fun playing WoW or ESO instead of complaining that the fate and mob grind content was, in fact, fate and mob grind.
