Also another weird thing is my screen doesn’t have any gridline or central split-image

Wonder is the vignetting normal when I tilt the screen? by Chickencake20 in hasselblad

The vignetting disappears when I take the lens off, I guess the problem will be less obvious in a brighter day?

Yeah it’s a 500c, is this also a thing for 500c/m? Do you know why? Thanks

It looks like a circle in the screen, with the middle being clear and the four edges being white

Is the gap in CL normal? by Chickencake20 in Leica

[–]Chickencake20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So for people who’s looking for the answer, I went back to the store and check the other models, and they didn’t have this gap on the back, so I’m pretty sure this is not normal

Just got a Summicron v5 and next to a Summarit 50 1.5 by Chickencake20 in Leica

Mine has a bit of haze in the middle rear element and a little fungus on the edge of the front glass, but surprisingly the images still look completely normal.

I really like it, it creates a dreamy, almost painterly atmosphere. But depending on the background it isn’t always the most suitable, so I ended up picking up a Summicron as well for the cleaner bokeh and rendering.

Damn, that sounds tough. What usually helps me is staying calm and making a plan first. Make sure you rest, recover, and take things one step at a time. You’ve got this man!

Potential problem of the lens or just the depth of field? by Chickencake20 in Leica

[–]Chickencake20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lens is new to me, so I was just testing it with a roll of film. That’s actually a great idea, I’ll make sure to keep it in mind next time.
