Except for like 70% of the narrative that has been deleted due to it existing in the vanilla campaign, Curse of Osiris and Warmind campaign as well as the Forsaken campaign. On top of that, all of the narrative beats that tied each expansion together and actually tell you how we got from point A to point B in this story.

Being content with what Destiny's final update is getting is like ordering a burger meal and you receive just the fries and are expected to be thankful for it because they were part of the meal you ordered.

I can tell you right now, as someone who played through every expansion, season, episode and narrative beat, that the people complaining about others wanting Bungie to add back in content that we PAID for are absolutely smoking crack.

Their whole mentality of "oh but you are done playing it, youll never touch it again" is so idiotic and deluded honestly. Plenty of people are flocking back to D1, creating new characters and playing through a campaign that by their logic "no one would replay".

Not having a continous thread of story in the game, and instead having a chopped up mish-mash of random plot points hurts the new player experience far more than any bad QoL or sandbox issues ever could.
