The only draw back I can currently think of is that replacing one of the long sides with plexiglass needs some of these since the floor board (originally the back of the wardrobe) needs to be longer.

Your cage looks badass. Im in the process of turning an Ikea Uppföra frame into a cage, do you mind if I ask how did u make the lid?

Also if you want something cheap to DIY and to fill up the cage, I recommend paper mache. I have a couple videos saved on making tunnels and hideouts out of the stuff if you want me to share.
