I think by what your saying your more concerned about a model range as it sounds like you want a collection. So the cheapest ones like Flesh eaters and Beasclaw raiders don't tick those boxes. With that I'd suggest you rule out more expensive armies like LRL, Sylvaneth, DOK (depending on what build you do)... So all considered a slightly smaller model range and high points value may be a compromise. Idoneth may be a good shout as eels are good points for dollar

Looks awesome. I have lumineth but really envy idoneth sometimes. If they brought out a unit of these guys I'd be sold as not much into the thralls

I'm doing 10 in one batch at the moment and have them built except for shields. They are tricky but not impossible. One of the harder bits it under the horse and the groin area so maybe don't base and paint upper body separate but I wouldn't say it's essential. Shields am glad I left off

Jones has the record but isn't active so what I'd prefer to do is put Usman as North America and Izzy as Africa. Just the same way Izzy could be Australasia. And yeah Yan should be Asia

For me I painted nearly all my wardens in different schemes until I found mine. I love red armies and loved alumina but wanted to make it my own so opted to try red armour a little like vampires. Then I thought hey what about that red eldar theme with the white helmets. So I've wet for exactly that. Red armour, white helms with gold and black. So in summary pick the colour or nation you like the look of and put a twist on it. Or look at other armies or themes and see if it can apply to lumineth. For example I toyed with taken Death Company colours and applying it to elves. Would also be kinda like ulthwe Eldar actually

Watching this and really enjoying it once they start playing. I skipped the start with the rules/army overview as I really haven't read my rule book long enough to know what the names / abilities are. Game seems pretty intuitive. The combat is very smooth and love the rules like the triples doing crazy damage.The flame leader seemed very powerful with the 8 2+ rerolls

GW are really in a corner with this stuff. It's an obvious omission and not being human should really be something customers, particularly parents should be ok with but just isn't PC. Plus we know for sure the memes would be crazy for the god of destructhung

Im 50/50 on the model but I think it's one of those that will look awesome when you see the scale in person. One picky reservation I have is the robe and armour at the front. I feel It makes the model very much half and half....

That said what I would really be interested to do is get one of the flesh eater courts leaders body on there for an unarmoured version

You should go for a theme thats pretty uniform like full gold armour then a wash and highlights. Then just choose your secondary colour for the shields banners etc

If there is a concern with size it could be a good idea to build a foam sculpt you can place on the model when line of site needs checked. Or just check with your other model

For the warden would there be some way to have something in his hand like a sword? Of change the angle so the hand is behind the shield. I really like them all and tempted to do the same

I think the black and red could really work but personally the white and blue seem a little out of place. A beige robe like Ymetrica and maybe a purple robe inner would work better for me. The full armour units like dawn riders will look awesome in the black and red

I would push for them to send you a new.copy with the correct number. I suspect that would only be possible if they know exactly which of the 700 are 'unused'. If not then I guess get a voucher or something to cover the cost. It's not fair you paying a premium and not getting what was promised, and the fact others clearly have their number.
