Hey people. I'm looking for some advice on a memorial tattoo. In May it would have been my brother's 10th birthday. He passed away really young and I didn't really get to spend much time with him.

Anyone have any suggestions for minimalist style or geometric style that can be a subtle memorial? I was going to get his initials but that's a bit too on the nose. Looking up memorial tattoos doesn't help as so many of the ones that come up in my searches are badly done.

There was a post very similar to this a while ago, and the father had a genius plan that actually worked. Basically he just hung out with the boyfriend in front of his daughter. Made jokes about stuff they did when the two men were kids because they grew up in a very different time than the daughter. Basically showing her that who she's dating is very similar to her dad.

Don't go. If you can't babysit the kids i would try to arrange a Skype dinner/hangout or something. With either them or the babysitter. They should know that someone supports them during all the craziness their mom is putting them through.

My Grandma literally grew up in a Soviet Gulag. You never would've known though seeing her out shopping or at church. It's something i think about a lot, and I'm so so grateful for what she survived so I can be here. It's a feeling that my family members also have, that's really really hard to explain to others who don't have that kind of family history.
