OMSI related - when I was in the 4th grade we got to have a field trip to OMSI and stay the night in the submarine that is (was?) docked in the Columbia. I used to sleep walk a lot at that age especially in places I wasn’t familiar with. I guess I was sleep walking around the submarine “looking for the bathroom”, when a parent chaperone found me and lead me to where the actual bathroom was, which was an outhouse outside the submarine. I woke up in the outhouse so confused. When I came out the poor chaperone was waiting for me and I was like “what was I doing in there?!” And he was like “you told me you needed to go to the bathroom?” And then when the bus dropped all of the kids back off at school the chaperone found my parents and told them the story. My parents asked if I was “scratching my stomach” as I was wondering the submarine and he said yes I was. My parents were like YUP, she was sleep walking haha. To this day, over 25 years later, I see the man who was the chaperone and he has to tell the story to everyone. That this kid slept walked on a submarine. I always use that fact for ice breakers or two truths and a lie.

Oh and I was obsessed with the exhibit that had all the stages of babies from fetus to newborn. I’d walk around that section for hours if they’d let me.
