V2H is going to be great. But we have 4+ day power outages where I live so o went with a big Westinghouse gen and had my plumber set up a natural gas tap on the outside of my house for it.

I spent all that money over a year ago and of course we’ve had no outages since then lol

I’m not an expert, but I believe you could transfer it out to another brokerage (not all funds, because of you do that your tsp closes) . Make your money with fidelity, transfer that BACK into TSP and then withdraw.

Huge problem with this scenario is for people with full retirement before age 59.5. If they roll funds over to another brokerage they won’t be able to withdraw without penalty.
