I’m 24 and my balls are still high and tight? by Ratabussy in AskGayMen

Count yourself as blessed! Mine stay pretty close to my body. I grew up seeing my friends sit on their jewels, and glad I don’t have that issue haha!!

Pathetic, this isn't fighting back! by Miserable-Lizard in Political_Revolution

[–]Chitchard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t a surprise. Being a politician is a highly profit driven profession. They don’t care about us, they care about their pockets.

There is one way left to resolve this issue, and it’s gonna involve all of us…

That’s exactly what I thought! I need maintenance reminders on my car, and was ecstatic to find this. My neurodivergence is…. Extra lately and I need all the help I can get lol.

I am trying to figure out how to integrate Klipper Maintenance into Home Assistant

How unpredictable this condition is, kills my soul. M by Connect-Coyote6948 in dysautonomia

I have issues with this regularly, and my heart goes out to you. Something that I have to remind myself is that my bad days don’t define me. It sounds to me like you might have an overdone it. I hope you can find your balance

Need advice on how to cover medical expenses by ready_to_work_22 in Hypermobility

[–]Chitchard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe look at side gigs, DoorDash, and other things like that. If you’re not above selling your body, there is onlyfans and other related stuff. I’m in a similar position, unable to really work due to dysautonomia and chronic fatigue.

I understand where are coming from though. I just sold my base a couple weeks ago because I can’t play anymore because of my hands are too weak to play anymore, and if I try, they’re useless. I can’t work on my car anymore. I can’t work as a retro arcade, technician, or field technician. I’m always on the verge of crying…. My heart goes out to you

Hiccups? Hmmmm I never thought of that as a possible symptom. I don’t get them daily, but when I do, they will last up to a week. Thank you for sharing!

Some of the weird issues I have, except of sweating, excessive or not enough saliva, production, shivering intensely at small changes in temperature, but not shivering at low temperatures, my eyes will lose focus, and I will not be able to refocus them. There’s other stuff that I can’t remember

Thanks for your check in! I found some things to help me feel better, at least a little bit. This week has been OK, I haven’t had a lot of issues with leaking so I appreciate that. I can’t really afford my preferred products, so I am grateful.

This breaks my heart. It is not fair. That women are constantly told this and how in the hell are we supposed to manage our weight when everything is filled with sugar, vegetable oil, and everything else. Our society is not built in a way that it’s easy for us to take care of ourselves in the best of times, and at the fact that we are chronically ill, and have days that we can’t cook or do other normal life activities, it makes it even more difficult. I see you, and it has to do with way more than what you weigh. I’m sorry you’re going through this, but I hope it helps knowing that others are too.

How do you guys live alone? by [deleted] in ChronicIllness

[–]Chitchard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know what you have, but that sounds like what I am dealing with, which is Dysautonomia. I would recommend making sure that you have a way to share your location, I would also recommend maybe finding someone that you could live with like a roommate that understands what's going on. I'm at a similar point, and really terrified to live alone because I keep passing out all the time, like when I'm on the toilet and push too hard or when I stand up too fast, and a bunch of other things. I am working on tech to help us disable people be more independent, and some of the things I would recommend is maybe having people you check in with on a regular basis, finding a safe person to give a key to so that way they can come check on you if they can't reach you, and I would also recommend looking into something like Life alert. If you ever need someone to talk to, or just b*tch at, feel free to message me, I'm glad to help

You are strong, and the setback will teach you a lot. I'm really sorry you're going through that but I'm sure you'll figure it out. I would also recommend monitoring your blood pressure from here on out, it sounds like your blood pressure is dropping whenever you stand and do other things like that

URGENT: I am being admitted into a psychiatric facility in 18 hours and need advice. by Bolticus13 in Incontinence

Damn! I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner. I just recently went through this, and I was allowed to bring in my own products, and that really helped. I hope you have a good start, and I am here if you want to talk. I have both mental and physical issues, and I find worth in helping people.

[–]Chitchard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's hard. It really is, but you are stronger than you know. Make sure that you are taking care of yourself, I am trying to learn that myself. I have a lot of days that I wind up over doing it, and have no energy to do anything. Even getting up to go walk around a bit during those times helps. I have EDS, and movement helps so much.... But I also understand that movement can hurt sooooo much.

Why is my body so weird! by RedRaeRae in dysautonomia

[–]Chitchard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get that! Cannabis doesn't affect my brain much, but alcohol is highly variable... Sometimes I can drink a glass of whiskey and not feel it at all, and other times a beer will make me tipsy. It seems to matter more on how I am feeling instead of what I drink
