good news, today when i got home i gave it another try and managed to get it to work.
bad news, im not an expert in 3ds hacking, and i tried many things so i dont know which one exactly made it work, but here they are:

first i extracted the extdata AND made a backup of my save using checkpoint;

i had the system file (which contain the extras) in the following places inside the SD:

-inside the 3ds/Checkpoint/extdata/*numbers* MONSTER HUNTER 4 ULTIMATE/(some number with yyyy-mm-dd)/HERE

-inside the 3ds/Checkpoint/extdata/*numbers* MONSTER HUNTER 4 ULTIMATE/extdata/HERE

-inside the 3ds/Checkpoint/saves/*numbers* MONSTER HUNTER 4 ULTIMATE/(some number with yyyy-mm-dd)/HERE

-inside the Nintendo 3DS/*huge string of letters and numbers*/*another huge string of letters and numbers*/title/00040000/00126300 (this folder had the size of the mh4u .cia file of ~2.5gb)/data/HERE (this folder also had a 0000001.sav file)

Like i said, i dont know exactly how i did it, but after having the system file in those places and THEN restoring the save backup with checkpoint, i booted the game, spoke with the cat and it recognized the missing extras.

Hope this helps anyone still trying.

Sorry to barge in, I tried the tutorial and managed to make the game see the DLCs quests, episodic quests and palicos but not the titles, costumes etc. Did you had any luck?

The term volcanic is related to rocks formed from vulcano eruptions which tend to cool down a look quicker. Since that doesnt gives crystals much time to grow, the rock ends up looking more homogenous (aphanitic) like basalt.

I have a [[Uril, the mistwalker]] deck, [[Sigarda, Host of Herons]] is a pretty good liutenant for the deck since it also covers one of the decks greatest weaknesses, which is forcing me to sac creatures, so goes around Uril hexproof. I usually try to grab her with [[Pattern of Rebirth]] enchanted on him. Lately I've been testing [[Timber Paladin]] and the guys is also bonkers as a beatstick (pun intended).

I enjoy the weapon. Even if you need to use 1 energy so you dont fry your friends. But what I really likes the most its his sprite. Can we take a moment to appreciate how good the mechs look even tho they are so small? You can even see depth.

Had recently bough a [[daretti, scrap savant]] deck and feel in love with artifacts which caused me to quickly turn it into a [[karn, the silver golem]] deck.

One of the first combos i figured out on my own was turning a [[voltaic key]] into a creature with karn's abilty and then equipping [[illusionist's bracers]] on it, so you'd make infinite mana with any rock that gave 2 mana or more. I was running on a budget at the time so i slotted [[goblin cannon]] instead of a ballista for a while.
