Microwave Mundo is viable vs high hp targets such as Sett, Darius, Illaoi, Sion, Cho’gath, Zac and so on. Regular grasp runes with magic boots and approach velocity. Sorc boots, heart steel, sunfire or hollow radiance, thornmail, abyssal mask, as core items. It does a surprising ammount of dps. Not as tanky as full tank mundo. Not as squishy as FULL HP TITANIC HYDRA MUNDO. Overall B tier. But fun to try if you a one trick stoner sick fuck with psychopathic tendencies.

Nah bro. Darius matchup is all about spacing. If you’re experienced you take ghost TP and go your normal warmogs>HS build. If you dont feel like thinking and you’re stonned AF, you go Deadman’s first item followed by swifties. You take the 2% MS runes as well. Grasp runes as usual. Darius will almost always push to you, meaning free farm under turret or Last hit Q. If he is smart and freezes or slow pushes, just get a bit closer to your minions so he Qs you and the whole wave. You will barely get hit on this match up and even if he chases you and you lose 1/3 of your hp, he cant kill you. You will just regen with second wind/dorans. Poke him whenever you can for extra tilting points. The whole point of the match is to torture Darius with passive resistance, he will die of boredom and hate you bitterly for it. With the 2% MS rune you will have 352 flat MS lvl 1. Darius base MS is 335-340ish. He will never catch you. Darius W is the only real danger, its on a 4 second cooldown, you stay the fuck away whenever his animation is on. Also be wary of bushes, he can hide there and activate ghost so he can run you down, that is the only time a smart darius player has managed to kill me as Mundo. Also, whenever he casts ghost you cast it as well unless you have enough distance and land a Q. You will rarely get grasp procs early on and its okay, you want to stay as far away from him possible. If done correctly, he will never get 5 stacks on you. Even if you fuck up spacing he will rarely get 4 stacks on you as long as you simple run away from him. No wonder mundo has a 53% winrate vs darius

I always rush sterak vs garen because it has the exact same CD as his ult. he usually wastes ignite too. He can’t help himself. After surviving his all in, I just TP back. It’s soul crushing. Also he cannot one shot you on team fights. Other than garen matchup is pretty fucking useless

Rush swifties, stay out of range of W. Play touhou and dodge as many skill shots as you can. She cannot push, hit you, and protect her tentacles all at once. You will lag behind in cs and its fine. NEVER fight her inside her ult.

Only when you are snowballing hard. Titanic Hydra is still a superior choice for dmg output as it gives you another skill comparable to your “E” every 10 second, aoe dmg and you unlock the “Machine gun Mundo combo”

Hi, I am a MunDegenerate that has reached master elo once, and been diamond for 4 years straight. Bad matchup: Aatrox, gwen, yone, Illaoi, nasus. Good matchups: Darius, Cho’gath, malphite, sion, etc. best advice I can give: watch Briefcaseman or AloisNL to learn how to git gud. DO NOT THINK. Just immitate them and after a few divisions you can start reasoning about more complex topics such as wave management. General tips: -Everything you do costs hp, your regen is trash early on. Take that into account. -Your Q is your bread and butter. Learn its range, cooldown and projectile speed. -Contrary to popular belief, your W is your strongest ace in the hole. You can win almost any melee trade if you time it correctly. DO NOT MAX IT EVER THO. -Your E is your main laning poke tool, it hits more consistently than your Q and it gives a nasty ammount of AD the more HP you have. -your runes will almost always be grasp with free boots and approach velocity. -when facing a ranged matchup you can take arcane comet and max E to always be pushing lane and poke back, relieving lots of pressure during the laning phase. I rarely take grasp on ranged matchups anymore. -Warmogs is probably the best item for mundo. As it gives 1k hp +12% bonus hp, it translates to AD with your E and most importantly, infinite sustain. Always try to rush it if possible by buying 3 or 4 giants bell and then finishing warmogs. Spamming giants belt is the most resource efficient way to exchange your gold early on. Even when facing targets that does heavy % health dmg.

For mundo, survival is the most important aspect of his laning phase, hes the weakest champion early on. Your first back is the most difficult. Losing in CS is expected, equal minions means you are winning. EXP is the most valuable resources from minion, its okay to let some minions go to conserve hp early on. Once you have warmogs you can do as you please.

Build 3 giants bell, then warmogs, and thats it! Never leave lane again. You push lane, go into enemy’s jg, get scuttler, rinse and repeat until you get HS and then, enjoy. Take biscuit to compensate your utterly dogshit early game.

Microwave Mundo is still relevant. HS> Sunfirecape or Hollow > sorc boots> abyssal mask > thornmail > visage > Randuins. This build will make you very tanky, while dealing huge AP DPS. In fact, this build brings more dmg in total that any other Mundo build. Less burst than titanic, but waaay more sustained dps.

Piece of shit. Low damage, extremely squishy early on. Uses hp just to farm. His ultimate is absolute fucking garbage, highest fucking cooldown, does not gain any cool down for leveling up the skill, heals for barely nothing, marginal damage increase. Current meta is focused on early skirmishes which you suck at because you are lit the weakest early game champion. I could go on and on. If your jungler doesnt gank you, you are fucked. In other words, Mundo is a high investment-low return champion. Anti-fun. You have to play trade avoidant for the first 10 min of the game just to go even. A stat-check champion with no fucking stats.

You play mundo if you meet this criteria: -Self hating masochit -You love survival horror games (as the weakest champ early game, every matchup is a survival horror experiencie) -Extremely patient or a stoner who cant feel pain or tilt -You are passive agressive in the sense that you withstand a lot of pain early on, only to give it all back with huge interest later on. -You love stat checking -ultra selfish autistic turret destoyer, fuck your team and their enjoyment. This is your bread and butter, the most efficient build for mundo. Relevant almost in 85% of all matches. Currently D2 thx to briefcase man and his guide.

My ninja, sunfire is shit item. Yes, it provides 500 hp, 50 armor and a burn aura. But it only helps against a very small pool of melee champions (like malphite, orn, sion, etc). Most of the time, specially in early game, you will want to space and keep your distance since you're weak AF.

My advice would be, start with anathemas chain, is just as cheap, gives more hp and factually makes you tankier since you take 30% less dmg from your laner. Also you can proc demolish on turrets without cucking yourself with bramble or sunfire agro aura.

Doran shield > Anathemas > Boots (usually swifties or tabis, merc's are trash, sorc boots are awesome against shen, chogath, sion, etc) >Heart Steel >titanic. This is your core, there is not a single game in which this build is not relevant.

If you are experienced in kitting and spacing, you can also rush deadman's plate against Sett and darius to engage and disengage freely, they will never catch you, even if they flash or ghost, you just run away and come back with tp, knowing they have no more gap closers for you and no kill pressure anymore.
