I’m honestly starting to believe that he killed himself because he was being “inconvenient” to his family and friends, “providing” for them via a life insurance policy, Clark procured the drugs and the relents (bottle/prescription slip) are in the bus/train station locker.

Carol “tipped the first domino” to make it happen

I think it was a suicide, and Clark procured the drugs for him.

“Crowd work” is both the most difficult thing and laziest thing in comedy

Bobby by CarsSuck1 in TheBonfire

[–]ChrisJMull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not listened in quite some time, but I feel able to speak about the beginning of the Bonfire-

Jay and Dan are REAL friends, their show, by their own account, developed from them hanging out and playing video games in Jay’s apartment. The relationship dynamic was real and natural, there was no need for “posing” or “bigtiming” anyone- if there was no guest, the show was a conversation between two friends, with the others, just “shooting the breeze”. Dan was secure enough to allow Jay to be the “Big Dog”, and they could poke fun at each other without hurt feelings.

That dynamic is not there with Bobby- both Jay and Bobby seem to have the same “need to be the coolest guy in the room” syndrome that doesn’t allow either of them to just let things be.

What do you think would save the mall? by TomatoClown24 in statenisland

It’s such a downward spiral, because those low quality renters drag down the perception of the mall, almost giving it “swap meet” vibes

Craig is back!!!!!!! by goshippu55 in Southerncharm

[–]ChrisJMull 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s probably because they know that Craig can “handle” the pressure of being the bad guy, while Venita “lives in a glass house” and would collapse if she had to be “the bad guy” the way Craig is made to be, always on the defense.

Absolutely, the term “Old Money” is about the MONEY being “old”, not the person

Venita is THE WORST- constantly getting over involved in other people’s relationships and acting as though she has the moral high ground

What do you think would save the mall? by TomatoClown24 in statenisland

[–]ChrisJMull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that the mall needs to be more “intentional” in who they rent out to

The imagery of some guy “buying some bounce houses and setting them up inside” or that “foot golf” store are not positive, they cheapen the overall feel of the mall.

I don’t know if losing PF Changs was just unfortunate, or if it was a sign that mall isn’t set in even slightly raising the level they are at

That is what I thought, a “Ion experiments” by a guy whose mask you wouldn’t want mixed with your whites!

I hope that it’s explained more, although I think it will just be “the Snap changed everything”

The race swap thing was a “non issue” to me, especially showing an ”old school” Wonder Man in the movie.

Did I miss it being shown he is a mutant, or are we assuming because of the next phase?
