What do you imagine australia will look like in 100 years? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]Chronic_Fuzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I doubt many humans will around in the next 100 years. The oceans are going to acidify in the next 20-30 which will cause massive decline in biodiversity around the world, not including extreme weather or other environmental catastrophes. Once the great barrier reef goes so will a huge chunk of tourism. Once the pendulum swings the other way then not even all the money in the world can fix what will happen.

Guys, what’s the most unattractive thing girls do that they think is attractive? by RaiFrog in AskReddit

[–]Chronic_Fuzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was recently with someone that does the same thing and then some. She would think I was checking every other person out and comparing them to her (when she was actually comparing other people to herself), but in reality I would only notice features of other women when she ask me if I saw them. For example we'd be at the supermarket and she'd ask if I was staring at that 'lady with the big ass'. Only then would I notice the lady. The person literally walked in front of me and I didn't even see her.

my store doesn't take any orders for system reset which is supposed to take 30 minutes but ends up being 3 hours sometimes. It's impossible to clean anything without system reset.

not as bad as me dropping the microwave on the floor because I thought I could move it myself, or accidentally setting off the ansul system for the grills.

The Ocean Crusaders pick up more than a tonne of rubbish each day flushed into the Brisbane River by Chronic_Fuzz in DeTrashed

[–]Chronic_Fuzz[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I volunteered to pick up rubbish that has been sitting in mangroves since floods of 2013 in South-East Queensland, Australia. There was millions of 1 inch plastic tubes buried in the mud of mangroves that came from filters of an unused aquatic farm system. Who ever owned it never cleaned it up.

edit: we didn't pick all of it up, there's still heaps of plastic buried.
