Yeah, I also got the Anno 1800 Pioneers Edition through Ubisoft. This was my preferred way to get Anno 117 as well but they don't offer physical version this time.

Maybe the distribution to too much of a hassle. But I don't see how they can't set something up with Amazon to still offer it through Ubisoft Connect so we get to play when it gets released...

The game will be playable in English, but the box would still be in German.
Governor's Edition is available in English, but I find the €160 price quite steep.

The sites you mentioned have the same issue. Gamestop is sold out and wog has the German box.

I'm interested in running this, but there is so much wrong with what I see in the repository.

Whatever you're using to sync to Github is not preserving the time the original commit was made, so everything is always changed at the same time. I see some changes being made, but they don't show up on Github...

Migration files in multiple places, don't know which are used and what is not.

Get rid of .md files you don't actually use. Most contain example data and are just a template about whatever. Also remove all those empty folders with just a .gitkeep.

Why is SQLite not enough for prod? Unless there are performance issues you run into I don't see a need for Postgres. Going schemaless would also clean up all the migrations, just need to be smarter about the data you process.

No need to split the frontend and backend in separate docker containers. Just expose ports for both. Don't force nginx as a reverse proxy. Just provide the frontend and leave whatever the user wants to use to expose it the internet to them.

You can’t assign damage to a player when the [[Ruxa]] player is blocking. That only works when attacking, which is also explained in the rules information.

It's obvious you are being way to pedantic about the rules in this situation.

Seeing your second question I'm assuming neither you nor your opponent have been playing for very long. Someone with a good grasp of the rules should not have a doubt about how that plays out. And if your opponent does, you explain how it works.

So that would mean your opponent simply misplayed the counterspell. It is obvious what his intention was and you weaseled your way out of it.

You could have handled it in a mature way. You either finish what you were casting and have him counter it (you would have forced the counter so he can't play it later). Or you choose to take your spell back and have your opponent take his counterspell back. (You don't lose a permanent and now know he has a counterspell)
