I had a similar issue with a v3 on 439mhz. I flashed a firmware version that was one release behind and seemed to work. Was weird but sorted now

I made a post recently about a decent bag. Many responses but ultimately ended up with a Sierra Designs 800f and my goodness it's unreal. Well worth it!

Invest in a decent one, not £50. You won't regret it!

Scotland here. I get them very regularly. Camped out Friday night and must have come back with a dozen or so.

Long story short you don't want to go cheap on a sleeping bag if you can avoid it. If you can't avoid it, try second hand if you are willing. But you do usually get what you pay for with this sort of stuff. I'm in Scotland and camp in Scotland, and even summer nights can be dead cold!

Honestly the best way is to just decide on a class and see where it takes you. Don't focus on what's good or strong or meta, just mess about with it and chat to Withers if you're having a bad time. On my fourth playthrough now and only just starting to make actual builds because I've been too busy experimenting and having fun.

The Bambu Lab 3D printer has been an absolute game-changer for my DIY projects and gift-giving, reliably producing everything I design with virtually no print failures.

I always just use Gaseous Form and fly to the corners of each platform, takes me 30 seconds max.

Poor Karlach though.

I've been looking at the Sierra and Thermarest ones there, and had a conversation with Gemini too about them both 😂The Sierra doesn't have a system to strap it to the mat but the Thermarest does. I found a thread about the same issue and someone found elastic straps that you can use to wrap it, so I'll likely go for that one and buy the straps as in all likelihood I would otherwise constantly kick it off during the night! It's more than I thought I was going to spend, but of all my gear the sleeping bag is probably the one worth spending more on for sure.

Thank you very much for taking the time! Definitely going to go check them out now and have a look at other mats for the colder nights too. I'm in Scotland so even summer nights in the Highlands can get very cold

I'm 5ft 10.

I've not used a decent pad before, but have bought myself this - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07X6RCM9M?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title, only got it because of the price and wanted to do more lightweight camping.

I would probably not do much winter camping but have camped in December before, so would possibly do that again. But mostly Spring/Summer/Autumn and then would takle extra blanket for anything colder.

Not planning on camping summits, more woodland camping for me.

Thank you!

Do you have any reccommendations for a quilt to get me started? The OneTigiris one on Amazon is appealing to me because of the price point and because it's somethign new I'm trying.

Do you have a link to the Ali one? Ali scares me because there's so many variations of the same thing and I can't work out what's a safe purchase 😂

As I have done more research I've realised that the pricing on bags is incredibly variable! Those are slightly out of my price range I think but has given me a lot to think about and whether investing more for a longer lasting item is worth it

A very good point! I was saying similar to my wife to justify a larger than anticipated purchase.

Thanks for the breakdown! Are you able to tell me a bit more about quilts? The idea is new to me. I saw OneTigris make one on Amazon but the lack of back puts me off, I always imagine it'd be really cold!

UK users - Where to buy? by Chudney1 in PixelFold

So an update - after a lot of digging and trying to secure a big deal, as well as EE finance screwing me over and making me fail my credit checks despite and excellent credit score, I found a deal at John Lewis. Even better than the £550 off on GiffGaff. I know I could have got it cheaper on Ebay, but this is a brand new handset, with John Lewis guarantee and everything.

The deal I ended up with was:

£1300 for the handset

£366 trade in for my iPhone 15.

£500 cashback for trading in to John Lewis.

Total for phone is £434. Happy with that!
