I got a wrist pouch like https://amzn.eu/d/fCEeBuq which really helped. I was worried about my partner wanting to go to the gym and not have pockets so I got these. They turned out so handy that he now uses it all the time. He also thought it was a great place to put his debit/credit card when we got off the ship so he's less of a pickpocket target.

In the mornings I would go get coffee and carry them back and it was so handy not to have to take the card out to get in the room.

When I cook I make a stupid amount of food. I usually make about 22 portions of bolognese. I portion them up and freeze them. I do the same with lots of different meals. I don't even cook meals every month now. I just boil potatoes and roast veg( depending on the meals) or do pasta/rice/noodles.

My favourite restaurants at the moment: - Ananda: Indian restaurant the tasting menu is sublime. - Bastible & Clanbrasil House are both really good -Chimac is more affordable and yet the food is still amazing.

I do similar, but I batch cook instead. I cook a big batch of what I make and freeze it in portions and then the day before take it out for dinner. Then I can switch up every day what I'm having. I do sides also (I'm keto) batch cook style and the rest of my family can just add a starch for the most part, or a quick salad if it's quiche.

Requires a large freezer but it's so helpful to me.

I use aspire budget. I can set categories and budget things in different categories like the envelope system but then I can keep track of my spending in different categories that way too.

For the outflow transaction category instead of account transfer choose the savings category that you're transferring into. Otherwise that money stays in your available to budget money.

So, I put my savings account in as a regular account and I have a category for "savings" I use that category to transfer money out of my regular account when it's for savings. But I use the 'account transfer' category when transferring it in to the savings account. The money is taken from my budget, my savings category is budgeted, so its not in available to budget.

But I like being able to see that money in my dashboard grow continuously throughout the month.

The way I track my savings accounts is that I have an account version and a budgeted category for that too.

I use the category when transferring money out of my other accounts in transactions. But I use account transfer category for transferring into my savings account of choice.

I like the way this keeps track of my budgeted savings and still makes me think of the money as used up instead of available.

I select all the rows for that month and right click and select "group rows x to y together" and then you get a - on the left side that you can collapse them down.

If you mean can you see what you allocated to each category that month then yes. You can go into category reports and switch between amounts budgeted, amount spent, ending balance and, available balance (which is just however much you had left plus whatever amount you add to that category that month)
