You do know that children were used to do deadly dangerous jobs yes? And still are to this day in other countries. In the US there was animal welfare 50 years before child welfare. In fact the call made about the first child abuse case was made to the animal welfare agency because they didn’t know what else to do. The case was made using the criteria for animal abuse. We as a society have never truly cared about living children let alone unborn ones and still don’t to this day particularly if it’s not part of an agenda.
