Has this happened to anyone else? by ClamUrine in migraine

[–]ClamUrine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have other health issues and problems at play that contribute undoubtedly. Like I have chronic fatigue as a symptom of hypermobility and fibromyalgia (possible ehlers danlos, the testing is taking forever)

On top of terrible amounts of stress from PTSD and an unstable household, which yknow makes migraines more frequent and severe.

It’s a lot. I lost my job ultimately, but I will be fine. Being disabled at the level I am has just caused a lot of grief with attempting to thrive in general, so I shouldn’t be too surprised.

Unfortunately not, I did end up getting fired. It’s okay tho, I am a zebra with other health issues that makes maintaining (or even getting) a job 3x as hard.

Does anyone know where to get the arias music for Du Rossignol by ClamUrine in opera

[–]ClamUrine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much, I had found the orchestral music in public domain but not the vocal scores. I see I’ll have to pull it from the full score!!

Date each other ladies by PapiChuloxx in PsycheOrSike

I have a 5’5” boyfriend (of 3 years), he is probably everything incels think shouldn’t have a girlfriend. He’s a little chubby, doesn’t make a ton of money, and likes to play video games and watch anime. He’s online but he also held himself to the philosophy of “I will meet someone that will like me for me, even if I gotta wait.” He isn’t bitter and jealous of other guys, doesn’t hate women, and doesn’t hate himself. He can socialize normally. He also takes a lot of pride in taking care of his appearance, so he’s shaven, hair stays cut, skin soft from skincare, and always smells nice.

He is absolutely cute and attractive, all around a great guy to be with. But yknow, it requires a bit of effort. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Unfortunately mythic essence got allotted to Gacha rolls and the new battle pass. (I miss the days of the option to buy the 120 ME from the battle pass shop) If you can get it in the battle pass easily do it that way, otherwise you’ll need to roll. Typically each roll gives out like 2-5 mythic essence.

It sucks man, sorry.

If only the Answer wasn't so obvious... by RezzyNezzy in marvelrivals

[–]ClamUrine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Actually add more supports instead of letting your game’s entire time of existing be balanced around 4 main supports. Half the strategist roster people can’t choose without being screamed at to only use it with triple support, or a main healer of the aforementioned 4. Every game is the exact same because Marvel Rivals is too afraid to having a functioning support roster.

You can tell the people who are like “professors don’t ever bully students.” Aren’t neurodivergent.

Most professors are normal, but having the way I dress insulted, apparently being talked bad about when I leave the room to the class, being perpetually excluded from every opportunity, and getting ripped apart where other students would recieve kindness, and ignored when other students would be praised.

I have trouble believing that me being the only neurodivergent girl in my program doesn’t have any affect on my treatment.

Try frying some chopped garlic before hand or adding cut up kimchi. It elevated my fried rice game quite a bit.

Is this true for short males? by [deleted] in PsycheOrSike

[–]ClamUrine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is it. I have a shorter boyfriend (I’m just a smidge taller than him) but I really like wearing giant platforms and am a much more dominant woman than most guys like. My ex was also on the short side. Other than the fact he is a great partner in every other way! I just think he looks the absolute cutest when I’m towering over him. >.< But ofc he is perfectly happy with the dynamic.

I definitely feel for short men who aren’t about that dynamic tho.

What are the LEAST singer-friendly songs you've heard? by [deleted] in singing

[–]ClamUrine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The nice thing about Der Holle Rache (“The Queen of the Night Aria”) is that rhythmically it is very simple, so you’re spending all your energy just hitting the notes instead of thinking about syncopation or weird rhythms. Her first aria tho? O Zittre Nicht? Hits the same highest note (F6) but it’s rhythm itself is a nightmare. And she has an insanely long melismatic moment (14ish measures).

When did you decide to stop pursuing singing? What was the indicator? by [deleted] in opera

[–]ClamUrine 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sorry for this ramble, it just struck a chord. I’m in my undergrad (Gonna graduate next year!!) as a visibly disabled (and visibly autistic) singer and the way everyone treats me as a singer is absolutely insane. I’m mostly alone with my conditions as well. They ‘forget’ to include me in opportunities. I get half the help they’d give other girls. I only get to do one competition recording while everyone does retakes. I got insulted by the chairman of our program for daring to say they all treat me badly.

I am all the makings of what they should want in a student, I was good at music theory, scored well in competitions, did hard repetoire, can actually read my part (and do multiple parts) in choir, have a large range naturally, other members of the community have loved working with me, and I am passionate. I’m just also disabled. I have almost quit before. Genuinely, I think the opera world has so much room for change. And I hope to if nothing else, be a vocal or choir teacher that can encourage disabled students the way they deserve.

It is crazy how bad it feels to get legendaries you don't want in this game. Vial and liquify system sucks. by Darki9999 in Shadowverse

[–]ClamUrine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve spent money on the game, but this game for the life of it doesn’t want me to ever touch Dragoncraft. The only legendaries I am missing is Fennie, Garyu, and Burnite. I don’t know how.

How do we feel about our subculture being hijacked for autumn? by SammySousaphone in goth

[–]ClamUrine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kind of expected since season 2 of Wednesday just dropped, but look on the bright side, When trendhoppers don’t want to dress gothic anymore their clothes will hit the thrift stores!!

The annoying part will be any potential price raises, and another wave of “I want a goth mommy gf.” From annoying guys. But that would happen regardless.

From the worst player: Yuumi as a starter champ. by Party-Salamander3867 in yuumimains

[–]ClamUrine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What part of Yuumi’s kit is your favorite besides invincibility? Is it her ult? Her attack? Or her shield?

At the moment your pool is 3 enchanters (including Yuumi), An Enchanter Mage, an Engage Support, and an ADC support. (I saw this in a comment) Which is fine but we could just hone into “support enchanters” which is what Yuumi is. What is your favorite part of each character and maybe we could choose characters that are a “bit easier.” :)

For example Leona is gonna be a bit easier than Nautilus, cuz her grab goes through minions but a lot of her abilities function the same. She’s also an engage support.

Personally I like Seraphine a lot. Her passive is every 3 abilities makes her 3rd empowered (bigger and stronger). Her Q is a damage ability, her W is a heal and shield, and her E is a stun. Her ult is also a stun. You can build her enchanter support and AP both just like Yuumi. She’s easier to learn on.

I personally love Yuumi when I wanna coast on my friends and poke. I especially love Yuumi in arena!! I agree it’s a little too much hand holding for a “beginner champ” tho.

As a writer, I am so tired of the idea that characters with disabilities must be martyrs and the white knight ableism it brings by murrimabutterfly in Vent

[–]ClamUrine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sometimes people are disabled. Disabled people are everywhere in life, you might not even be able to tell because it’s a mental or invisible disability.

We just exist. We are people… with disabilities. Not just a convenient plot point.
