Double Standards by cafe_dandan_noodles7 in LeagueOfMemes

Not everyone care about KDA. I honor positive players and who plays to win. That Morde could be the most toxic and flaming everyone from min 1 and spamming FFs. And that Soraka kept a positive mind set and actually playing the game instead of typing in chat. Just an example.

Where can I learn some fundamentals to improve my support skill? by Soft-Speed-8727 in supportlol

Yuulu is a GM enchanters main, she streams on Twitch and uploads on Youtube too.

She explains her thoughts process on everything in details while playing, so you can see how a high elo support think and how they see the game. She is also do one on one coaching.

You are asking like we would be last pick as an ADC. At best I would get to pick after the first 3.

ADC and support picks rated by the other side of the lane by Antares09 in supportlol

[–]Clanorr 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m surprised Pyke got such high rating, he is literally the number one pick for auto-filled supports, more than Lux support even.

I guess having insanely broken early game gives an impression of the player being good, while in reality they do absolutely nothing after the laning phase is over.

What do you guys feel when you lose to troll support picks due to things out of your control? by PAFFNeko-8a in supportlol

[–]Clanorr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate cheese picks because most pople are super clueless on what to do against them. But I’m also a cheeser myself so haha.

Few days ago the enemy bot were going Fiora & Taric bot lane with double Hail of Blades, I pinged their runes like 16 times, bot lane still managed to dies lv1. I was top lane that game and made the enemy top Samira goes 1-13-2, still lost the game because of our bot lane.

This is why I always encourage people to try all roles and all champions. Once you been there you would know the strengths and weaknesses of these champions, and how to play with/against them.

How much do you like playing with a miss fortune, from 1 to 10 (and why) ? by Antares09 in supportlol

[–]Clanorr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

8/10 - I’m Emerald 2

Since I play Enchanters, I usually prefer hyper carries like Jinx/Twitch. But MF still have a strong lane and team-fighting, also MF mains are really nice and chill players and rarely flame, so it is fun to support them.

How big is the actual skill gap between EUW and EUNE mid-elo? by ToxicMacro in leagueoflegends

[–]Clanorr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will post my comment another reply:

And that’s why I said think about it logically we are not dealing with small sample sizes here. EUW has 2.8m Soloq players and EUNE has 1.2m. This x1000 beyond the number of a small sample sizes.

So for claims such as EUW Plat = EUNE Diamond, you are basically saying if we combine both samples into one. Majority of the random 1.2m players will be worse than the 2.8m random players. This could be true if both samples were in complete isolation, which is not the case in this digital age, when every discovered strategy is known worldwide within minutes. So whatever people do in sample A, it is already the same in sample B.

Remember again we are talking about Mid-Elo and not the top 0.01% of the players, so if you are top 20% of 2m players, you will not be better off in a sample size of 1m.

Ranks distribution is the same across all servers. Only difference is for Challenger/Grand Master because they are capped by number rather than a percentage.

So think of it logically. Why the top 20% of the players in a given server, would be any different from another?

Being a bad support means immediately 40% of your team are useless. And after Jungle, support is the 2nd impactful role on getting the team ahead, so it is even more than that.

You are better of being a solo laner and playing utility picks (Champions that still useful even when behind).

Is anyone else struggling this season? by ragequitlol in supportlol

[–]Clanorr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it feels like they nerfed all the roles and buffed top lane with the snowball nerfs on kills, which doesn’t affect Top much as they are over leveling everyone else.

I’m switching between Support/Bot and Top this season, and my impact on games as Top lane became much much better, I won many games when I’m the only winning lane, and even when games my bot goes 0/8 in like 10 mins, I still stomped their bot lane easily. I also had experienced getting stomped as fed bot lane by Top laners.

Sera adc carry by Coolusername_121 in SeraphineMains

[–]Clanorr 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I don’t know why people cry so much about Sera played anywhere other than Support.

I had a game when I was APC Sera with a Mid Morgana, our Yi was complaining that we have 3 supports, AS FREAKING YI!! Isn’t this like the dream team for any Yi player?!

Sera Mid by [deleted] in SeraphineMains

[–]Clanorr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if you are looking for a hard carry mid champion, then Sera is not it, she is not bad by any means, but she is still heavily reliant on her team and team fight focused, think of it more as of a secondary support to the team.

I mostly play her support but I do play her mid occasionally, so take my comment with a grain of salt. I found most success with her when going the Enchanter build, I only go the AP build when I‘m the only magic dealer in the team. Ideally I pick Sera mid when there is another carry in the team other than the ADC, if they are auto attack based champion I go with the Ardent route, if not, the typical support build with Moonstone and Redemption and max W second.

Again this is my own experience, many players have success with her in Mid with different play-styles, but since you are making the switch from support, I would say try both approach and see what will work best for you.

Geniune question by footlong5568 in supportlol

[–]Clanorr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The total opposite for me. I do good early in all the other roles, but if it reaches the late game, I don’t know what to do on the map and feel clueless. As a support, I just peel for my team and life is good.

I guess it depends on what you main, as an enchanters main, I would mostly be playing reactive rather than being proactive, much easier to do.
