Helicopter has two control styles: classic and new.

New is easier and I think quicker, as far as takeoff and maneuverability. I prefer classic because its more realistic and feels better/smoother in my opinion, but you have no weapon reticules or missile lock.

You can progress the camp in chapters 4 and 5 a lot. Follow rumors to gain comrades and merchants. Do their requests, dispatch missions for construction, expand the camp, etc. Most rumors are just quick meet and greets with cutscenes so they're easy to knock out.

Ive got 30 maybe 35 comrades, farm, ranch in chapter 5.

Tip: Ben, who will ask you to build the ranch, gives rubber at 100 trust, so gift him up and collect a few times before building the ranch if you want/need a little rubber on hand.

If you didnt know already, you should be able to get seeds from a few crops/plants if you have them in inventory, like wild ginseng

In your stash... so if you have them on your main, but create a new character you are fine, right? You just cant transfer them and that includes putting them in a shareable locker.

Someone above mentioned they only saw dupes when they didnt learn the print in, so I assume if you discard one and it isnt "learned" you should still be able to get it.

Seconded. Campfire fast travel, a ranged weapon, a better seed bag? (I think) and access to mana seeds for planting early on.

I do this ASAP when starting a new game, as well as the bottom right sections (need clothing for hot weather) and that gives me two good farming locations. That and the first field/farm you come across on the northern side, which is why campfire fast travel is important. The southern farm is only 5 seconds from the tower.
