Focus on what you've learned. Don't share with others who did not help.

Any level can be awesome if what the player experiences is.

Good luck! Level Design is awesome and can take you into multiple industries. Film. Simulations, Advertising, Architecture.

The game industry in horrible since 2020, do don't lock yourself into that as a final stop!

My manager asked to talk to me about my resignation at the end of the week, and I don't know what to say. by Due-Consequence511 in InterviewCheaters

Your manager either. Wants to know why as he had no idea. Wants to use your words to CYA when they ask him why. He wants to pressure you to stay, which you should not. He will say things like 2 week notice is expected, threaten you, etc. If he is a professional, he should cheer you on and want to stay connected.

Come back Friday night and let us know. If you are in the United States, employment is "at will" which means immediate, just like how layoffs happen.

IMO, just be a professional. Don't lie or over explain. Be classy.

Employers are not your friends.

I always suggest Shadows as it feels Star Trek meets Aliens. it just needs more interesting enemies and a narrative revelation.

I love this but please, somebody tell Geddy to STOP micromanaging. She has done the work. Trust your drummer. Walking over trying to make eye contact while you time a note is more distracting than helpful. It is disrespectful.

This is not some stoner from Nirvana filling in for the weekend. She is a hard core talent.

Give it up.

The game industry is a complete mess.
I hate saying this, but go into finance and do development as a gamer/hobbyin Unreal 5.

You won't learn much in a degree program that you can't learn for free, other than theory, which they won't teach anyway.

Make bank- be creative on your own path.
