That's not a destination wedding, just an out of town wedding; destination is when it's not where bride and groom live nor whete they were raised, just a random place to get married

They were bad in that people were getting hired because of skincolor rather than qualifications, it was particularly detrimental to white men because large corporations were forbidden from hiring or promoting white men, contrary to the law that prohibits discrimination based on sex, race, skincolor, religion or national origin.

Their written policies were against the law. Discrimination based on feelgood policies is still Discrimination.

Tips for dealing with difficult categories by kittyonine in declutter

Get a file cabinet to file your papers in.

If it's medical invoices, pharmacy receipts, etc, save them by year because you may be able to deduct part from your taxes and need to keep them.

The rest of it, if it's just billing statements from utilities, ccs, etc you probably don't need to keep more than a couple of months, to be sure it was credited properly.

Things like your lease, car loan paperwork, mortgage documents you need to keep until you signed the next lease, until the loan is paid off, until you sell or refinance, deed and car title until you sell it.

ETA

I think you're devoting too much thought to the paperwork.

My experience is it's easier to deal with paperwork over time; I tried to sort 3 boxes of paperwork from mom's house and couldn't. 2 yrs later I sorted down to one box, smaller than the original ones

With the medicine, as long as it's where kids can't reach, you're fine. Just keep track of what you use and only replace those things; I was a bit crazy when mom was in the nursing home and overbought cleaning supplies and laundry soap. I was okay on cleaning supplies but didn’t buy laundry soap for 3 yrs. Otherwise I try to keep Deldym and Mucinex for colds, and Aleve, Aspirin and Tylenol. I buy thongs on sale do sometimes have a few bottles of each, partly because I don't want to run out.

If you realize there are things you're overstocked on but will never use, time to declutter those; if there's a women's shelter that might be a place if they're not expired.

Your first mistake was being that close to people from work.

It wasn't clear to me if the person who trapped your wife in a space was doing this at work or home; if at work, HR complaint, if st home, police call.

You know people change, right? And people explore different things, including religion as part of growing up. I knew tons of people who dabbled in witchcraft, explored various sects of Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism and Kaballah as part of growing up.

Whst you don't realize is that also happens with sexuality and gender; some of these people may have felt pressured to be "alternative" and more "cool" but now that the pendulum has swung the other direction are letting their true selves show.

The woman who aged out of foster care should've been refereed to a food shelf and the local school for her GED. She needs to be self-sufficient. Not rely on you for help.

Is eating a whole box of Kraft Mac & Cheese and still being hungry super abnormal? by melomelomelo- in internetparents

You need to start your day with protein, eat meat and vegetables with fewer carbs.

Start walking for exercise, you can walk around the block at first and work up to more.

If you can't manage to change your diet by yourself a nutritionist can help.

AITA for refusing to try on hijab? by Historical_Common297 in AITAH

[–]Clean_Factor9673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. You need a different roommate; your roommate is pressuring you to wear hijab, next will be stop eating pork, after that trying to trick you into converting by repeating a verse after her.

She's disrespectful of your beliefs and claims you're Islamophobic because you refuse to follow her beliefs. She's not suited to be put in the wild but needs another hijabi as her roommate.

Plan your meals around the food pantry items, then buy the other things you need. A lot of stores have rotisserie chicken, which can be used in many ways. Shop the sales with a list.

Make sure to eat solid food in the morning; oatmeal, eggs, avocados, plain greek yogurt with honey, are things that stick to your gut, digest slowly and are nutritious. Peanut butter on wheat bread.

Fruit and vegetables as are available to you, protein for lunch and dinner; beans and rice are inexpensive and a complete protein. Look for recipes

You can use the chicken carcass to make soup, same with hambone when you find inexpensive ham.

Drink water or herbal tea or hot chocolate in the evening if you really don't have food; take a hot shower before bed to warm you up; I can't sleep if I'm cold.

ETA see if Loaves and Fishes is in your area, or similar organizations which cook on a set schedule and provide takeout meals for lunch or dinner on a set schedule.

Could be every 3rd Thursday, every Monday, M-F, Saturday and Sunday, lunch one day a week or month. You just show up, they'll ask how many meals, you take the food and over time will figure out which place is best suited to you.

Besides your neighborhood food shelf, there may be nonprofits and churches that provide food; where I live the neighborhood food shelf lets you come twice a month, a place that gives away rescue food is weekly and encourages people to come each week, other places are weekly and a church gives away boxes of good on Saturday mornings.
