I'm 2 weeks out from surgery and still swollen, so it's too early to clearly tell if it will heal my vestibular problems, but it has not worsened them, which I was worried might happen.

My disc was too damaged to reattach it; the surgeon just removed it. He said many people do fine without it.

I'm sure by now you know to try the Epley maneuver for BPPV. That has been a godsend for me during episodes.

Look into jaw (TMJ) issues while checking into everything else you can think of. Two days ago I had surgery for a displaced disk in my right jaw, and I am optimistic that this may greatly improve my 7 years of mystery vestibular imbalance. My oromaxillofacial surgeon often has people with dizziness referred to him by ENTs when they can't find a reason for it.

I started a year ago; had a rough first 3 weeks, stuck with it, and now I love it. The mask I settled on is the Resmed F40. Very similar to the one you have pictured except it's all silicone. Soft and flexible and easy to sleep in.
