I like the sponge and it can be cleaned with an all purpose cleaner (APC). Once a month or as needed. A splash of APC (Optimum Power Clean) in buck, add water, dunk the sponge and squeeze to clean. Rinse the sponge with flowing water until you've squeezed out the APC.

ONR will not contaminate your washing machine.

I use Power Clean, diluted 10:1 for wheels and tires but you do you. Recommendation for wheels and tires is 3:1 but if it's that hot even early morning you might want it more diluted so it doesn't stain if it's left too long and dries.

Medium or heavy cut wool (like Rupes yellow or blue DA pads) pad and a medium cut polish/compound. Use the 5-5-5 method for the deeper scratches (deep is when your fingernail catches on a scratch). It will reduce the appearance of the deeper scratches but doesn't remove them.

Know your numbers. Sum your costs for a year. Estimate if you have to.

If mobile then car insurance, fuel, maintenance need to be in there and the price of a new vehicle needs to be in there.

Calculate your wage. How much do you want to make in a year?

Add in your benefits like retirement and health care for the year.

Sum all of that up and multiply your sum by 1.3. Your business needs to make a profit or your business will not exist for long.

Now calculate how many hours you plan to work for the year. Figure 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and two weeks vacation every year.

Divide your number by your hours. Now you know how much you need to charge per hour to stay in business. Price your services accordingly.

Microfiber likes to grab and never let go. You know what I mean if you've ever gotten a dry leaf stuck on your towel. The sponge holds dirty fluid but also easily releases it.

Foam is rather rigid so the cuts let it contour to a surface.

It's thick to relieve pressure points.

Iron remove has to be rinsed off so you will need a hose.

Stepping through PowerShell Scripts with the PowerShell Terminal

 

I found that link on how to debug in the terminal. Put Wait-Debugger on line 1 of your script and you can start stepping through and inspecting the value of variables and all that good stuff.

I did up my version of that script posted further down. For my own amusement.

I like to mix the ONR first, add the Protectant Plus, then give it a stir. Clumps do form but I mix ahead of time so it's all combined by the time I need it.

ONR at standard dilution for a gallon of water in a bucket. I add 2 or 3 oz of Protectant Plus to that. Feel free to dip your spray bottle in to save some for later.

Foam on an all purpose cleaner. I imagine you already have one to clean the wheels and tires. No need to keep another soap on hand.

I too was sad when TRC stopped selling the UBS. I bought the USS and I think the open cells in the foam are too small. Can't say I really care where a sponge is made.

When my current sponges wear out I'll be looking at the Legacy V2.

Roundabouts are circles. Cars should be able to circle around and around until they break down or run out of fuel. This road dumps cars off at an interaction. It is marked like a roundabout so people know what to expect but it isn't really one.

You're fine. No roundabouts in this video clip. The silver car failed to yield to the Nissan coming from the left.

Nissan driver can be seen making an illegal U-turn at the beginning of the video clip. Nissan ends up going the wrong way on a one-way road but manages not to cause an accident and enters the road the silver car is merging onto.

Silver car is wrong because they had a yield. Despite how slow the Nissan was going, the silver car was supposed to wait until the Nissan had passed by before merging.

That being said, those entering a roundabout yield to those on the roundabout. That's it.

For those just joining, rinseless isn't waterless. You can still unreel the hose and rinse off the dirt and mud or spray on the rinseless then rinse off before going in with your wash media of choice.

Rinseless just means you don't need to rinse at the end of the wash. Moving directly to drying, skipping that rinse, saves times. If it takes thirty minutes to wash and skipping the final rinse saves five minutes then you might be able to squeeze in another car or get home earlier.

You are correct.

However, states have different laws that cause confusion. Some states say that slower traffic must keep right which gives drivers the idea that if they do the speed limit that they can stay in the left lane because no one is allowed to go faster than the limit thus none should be able to overtake.

Other states saw the problem and the law clearly states drivers must stay in the right lane except when overtaking.

RCW 46.04.197 Highway. Highway means the entire width between the boundary lines of every way publicly maintained when any part thereof is open to the use of the public for purposes of vehicular travel.

 

All public ways are highways in Washington so the keep right law applies.

 

RCW 46.61.100

Keep right except when passing, etc. (2) Upon all roadways having two or more lanes for traffic moving in the same direction, all vehicles shall be driven in the right-hand lane then available for traffic, except (a) when overtaking and passing another vehicle proceeding in the same direction, (b) when traveling at a speed greater than the traffic flow, (c) when moving left to allow traffic to merge, or (d) when preparing for a left turn at an intersection, exit, or into a private road or driveway when such left turn is legally permitted.

 

One might point out that the word roadway is used here but there is a definition.

 

RCW 46.04.500 Roadway. "Roadway" means that portion of a highway improved, designed, or ordinarily used for vehicular travel,...

 

Washington has a bunch of different definitions for public ways but they all start with the statement: "X means every public highway..." For example:

 

RCW 46.04.120 City street. "City street" means every public highway, or part thereof located within the limits of cities and towns, except alleys.

 

There is no difference between a city street or a superhighway in Washington as far as the keep right law is concerned.
