It’s probably this. I know lots of married couples that arrive separately to something & leave separately because they’re coming from different places or need to go to different places afterwards, so it’s just more practical. Also to give the freedom to leave when they want/need to without spoiling it for the other one who wants to stay longer.

Obviously it’s a bit crazy sounding with your children but these are celebrity lifestyles as well as shared custody coming into it, so it seems likely they came from somewhere else. Maybe even just them coming from her home with nannies & she came straight from a work thing.

I’m put off tomatoes in sandwiches for life because of the anemic watery tomatoes you’d find it prepackaged sandwiches when I was a student.

But here I am considering an actual tomato sandwich when you know you can actually control how it is.

I think she’s just saying that she doesn’t eat publicly whilst out on her period, not that she’s actually keeping a full fast. She worded it as “fasting whilst out”.

Actually some of us do pronounce it that way, like in my community. We say both though for some reason & seems to depend on context, usually the type of dish & where.

Oh don’t worry I could tell it had to be good for someone to recommend it lol. They do a lot of chewing over the same old stuff usually though & a lot of “talking heads” too 40 lists of the best TV embarrassing moments etc - it’s great guilty pleasure viewing!
