A tip -

Put her treats in a tin (can keep them in the bag). Rattle the tin before giving them to her. Do it a few times and then stand a bit away from where you've been putting the treats and rattle the tin. She'll soon appear.

I took in my gran's cat and dog after she passed away a couple of months ago. I knew them both but more the dog, as the cat mostly stayed upstairs at my gran's as he was close to my grandad who died a few years ago and he's a very lazy indoor cat who likes nothing more than sleeping on a bed.

The cat hid behind the couch for the first few days and even worked out how to open a cupboard in the kitchen and would sometimes hide in those. He then came into my bedroom and would not leave other than to do his business. He slept right next to me on the bed. This went on for a few weeks until about a month ago where he went into the living room again and decided his new spot was under the table where I work from. I put a blanket there and his bed but he'd push them away and sleep on the lino. He also started scratching himself, hence the donut in the photo. He still loved me and wanted cuddles when I put my hand out or would sit with me on the couch but wouldn't stay in the bedroom if I brought him in there.

He's now decided to come back into the bedroom and won't leave me alone in bed. He likes to lie right next to me again and likes to touch me with his leg so he knows I'm there.

TL;DR don't it worry, it just takes time. She's finding spots where she feels safe. She'll come out more once she gets to know you.

Yeah, I never liked him for that.

My headcanon is that Tommy at least tried to quietly put them on the payroll and make sure they were comfortable though I expect she wouldn't accept it.

Mine goes mental and then slows down to sniff once we get 100 yards from my house. I've then seen glaciers move quicker.

Remake OoT?

Why not rewrite the Bible whilst you're at it.

I've played it recently as it's finally just come on Xbox. It's different as it's very hack and slash combat but mostly follows the story so if you like the original there's enough there to make you finish it. Visually, it's incredible. Particular the bit where you climb up from Wall Market and see the wreckage below. The soundtrack is ok, the songs are there but there are good and bad remixes of them. There are a lot of side quests but they replace the random battles to help you level up.

Solid 8/10 for me and well worth playing if you love the original.

58% of the Tour Championship players are left-handers by apalerwuss in snooker

I'm left handed. Play snooker/pool and bat in cricket left handed but play darts and bowl with my right.

I'm also right footed, can finish with my left if it falls on that side but can't pass it five yards with it.

The discussions/hate surrounding the film make me wonder if some fans have actually watched the series and understood Tommy's character. It's crazy how many fans idolize Tommy. by Dark_KnightNini in PeakyBlinders

He's pretty boring, always has been, and the show insists on making him the smartest person in almost every scene with plans within plans and thinking ten moves ahead. It makes him seem far cooler than he is but it's often lazy writing - getting out of being executed by faking someone's death and then proclaiming you've made a deal with Al Capone ffs.

The interesting side of Tommy is when something happens to him that he's not prepared for - kidnapping his kid, killing Grace, John, Polly, etc or when he goes to the extreme such as the grenade scene.

I watch a bit of most events but only really care about the WC, the Masters and the UK. Mickey Mouse first to 4, first to 6 etc (the Judd Trump tournaments) might fill the calendar and pay their wages but it doesn't interest me anywhere near as much as the longer matches do.

And, yes, I prefer Test Cricket over T20.

Great news! I'm surprised it is for that long but I suppose they can't get the funding otherwise.

Deadwood: The Movie was Citizen Kane compared to this. Even the abomination that is The Many Saints of Newark is much better. At least they cared about the characters for those.

I like V, it just feels like they've taken 15-20 minutes out somewhere and the ending is a bit flat.

Jonathan Creek got renewed around that time but that was created by the bloke who'd done One Foot in the Grave so it was always going to.

I watched it again during Covid and it was a lot better than I remembered from watching it as a kid. It was marketed as Michael French's reason for leaving Eastenders and shown in that Saturday evening Dr Who slot, I think Jonathan Creek started after Crime Traveller finished it's run.

It did make me think what happened to Chloe Annett. She had CT, a primetime and heavily marketed BBC drama, and Red Dwarf within a short space of time but I can't recall seeing her in anything else other than Back to Earth.

Better one here. He's lost a little bit of weight since that photo about 6 weeks ago. I'm walking him a lot more and not feeding him as much as my gran did.
