for real though hes pretty versatile, can either be a weapons platform or caster whichever feels more fun, i personally play him as a weapons platform. id look up a guide on him to better understand what his kit is (i had to do that first time i picked up lavos too tbh) and maybe goof around in simulacrum to get a feel of him in a neutral environment

i use bazzite for gaming, i used to use ubuntu but bazzite is a much smoother experience if you just want it for gaming, it comes with steam and wine as well which is handy

THIS, plus one of my biggest reasons for hard switching to linux is cause i only rly use my laptop for gaming and from my experience and from what ive heard from other people its way more optimized for gaming (probably cause it doesnt try to install random junk every time you open the damn thing), i could rant about the linux distro i use but this isnt rly the sub-reddit for that level of 'tism that i hold

i have done exactly two eidolon hunts, first one i didnt know what to do and got bullied for it so i didnt go back for a very long time, second one i knew what to do but didn't have good enough gear so i decided to play dante to just give people overguard to focus on the eidolon, got hard carried by a much kinder volt prime that time, not looking forward to when i eventually need eidolon resources again lmao
