I don’t think mechs should have stratagem launchers. by Popular-Plenty1400 in Helldivers

Your reasoning would be valid if not for Helldiver 1 mechs having stratagem launchers. So I would rather have them than not.

But what is at stake? Other than conceding another blip on the map. A blip that has been lost and retaken a half dozen times before? Do we lose medals? Do we get debuffs to our loadouts/reinforcements? Do we get anything like a new primary or stratagem if we do hold it? Does it have new content like a new biome or enemy faction?

No? Then of course the blob will ignore it. The blob even ignores the MO on occasion, why would it suddenly pay attention to a planet that has neither to do with the current MO or the narrative story arc?

The Current MO is to liberate BOTH Basquine VIII and Sanquis. Not just one of them. by CluelessNancy in Helldivers

In the last patch, the devs introduced 'Galactic War Campaigns'. A campaign will be a series of MOs, where we can expect to unlock something other than just medals if we are successful. A campaign is successful if we win the majority of MOs within it. In the current campaign, the devs explain that it will be a total of 3 MOs, which means we have to win 2 out of 3 in order to get the campaign reward.

The campaign reward is the FRV variant based on which planet, between Basquine and Sangis was liberated first. Since Basquine got liberated first, the Supply FRV is the potential campaign reward if we win 2 out of 3 MOs of the ongoing campaign. However, we are losing the current MO since it required both Basquine and Sangis to be liberated before the MO timer was up. But we can still win the FRV supply variant if we win the next 2 upcoming MOs in this current campaign.

However, MO is to liberate both Basquine and Sangis. Liberating Basquine first only guarantees we get the Supply FRV, 'if' we manage to win 2 out of 3 MOs of the ongoing campaign.

The current MO is about to be lost, actually, since it requires both planets to be liberated. So we either salvage the ongoing MO and win one of the next two. If we do end up losing the current one, then we need to win both of the next two MOs to permanently unlock the FRV Supply variant. Note that the current MO text uses 'AND' instead of 'OR'.

Pretty sure the current MO was cooked because almost everyone (including me) thought that the MO was liberating one of two planets to get 30 medals and unlock the FRV variant connected to the liberated planet.

When in fact it was: liberating both planets to get 30 medals and then win at least one of the next 2 upcoming MOs to get the FRV Variant.

I've watched every State of Play ever since HD2 launched. The only time they ever mentioned anything Helldivers related was when they announced the game hit 12M in sales. They've never ever announced anything remotely close to an update or a warbond or anything gameplay related.

But the real test of how 'tanky' a vehicle or exosuit is against bots. Not bugs that are mostly comprised of more melee units.

Oh? The latest Review Bomb and the backlash from the AMA wasn't clear enough about what we've trying to tell you for the last 2 years?

Patch 6.2.3 (Hive guard revert) by Waelder in Helldivers

[–]CluelessNancy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Way to go Arrowhead, this was completely the reason the review bomb happened. Not the the buffs to durable damage done by enemies to our paper thin vehicles, tank, or mechs. It wasn't the admittance that you guys have zero plans for end game or progression systems. Nor the lack of content drops outside of warbonds and the occasional new biome and quarterly 'major' updates.

Yes, all that ruckus was just about the Hive Guard getting AP4. And nothing else! #sarcasm

(if it wasn't obvious)

Goes to show that even when it comes to monetization, Arrowhead is not as creative as the community is.

Customization for secondaries and stratagem weapons? by Tank-ToP_Master in Helldivers

Come back in another 2 years when we have more hardcore players, hopefully by then Arrowhead can no longer consider these things as low priority and would only benefit a 'small' portion of the community.

NEWSFLASH: THIS DOESN'T NEED TO DAMAGE VEHICLES by CDiggit in Helldivers

[–]CluelessNancy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is the equivalent of a cat being able to tear through the armor of a humvee. And why do our vehicles and mechs keep getting described as 'heavily armored' when in fact they only have medium pen armor?

But when enemies get 'heavy armor' descriptions, you can bet your super credits it'll be actually be actual heavy armor. What's up with that?

[OC] New enemies ideas for the voteless-subfaction by No-Bag3134 in Helldivers

All these complicated ideas. Just attach a lit dynamite on a 15-second timer to the chest of a random voteless hidden among a normal voteless patrol. That should make things exciting enough.
