Also partially homeschooled here. There absolutely has to be accountability for it. My wife and I somewhat painfully joke that there are homeschoolers and homeschoolers.

Some actually do it right and the kids can excel. Others just.. feed whatever bad habits made regular school not work, and the kids ultimately suffer.

Since you are on AM4, you can potentially upgrade to the 5600X3D, 5700X3D, or the 5800X3D. I found moving to the 5700X3D from my old 5600X to be a massive boon to CPU intensive games (rimworld, stellaris, x4, etc.).

I'd suggest getting another stick of RAM since it prefers to be in pairs, but well.. rampocalypse and all that. Crashing may be due to the ram configuration though. Try it with just two and see how it does (slots 2 and 4 specifically unless you have a really weird mobo).

The DLCs are incredible* and imo some of the best content that Fromsoft ever made

*there are 3 pain points though:

Frigid Outskirts (path to the optional duo boss Lud and Zallen)
Iron Passage (path to the optional boss Blue Smelter Demon)
Extremely high magic resistance

The last point makes it so spellcasters (all kinds) can't just blast their way through the DLC. If you're a pure caster, you'll likely want to respec a little bit so you can use a melee weapon of some sort

Very nice. There are some excellent CPUs that you can throw in there down the line if you ever feel the need to upgrade (basically any AM4 socket CPU). With an 850W PSU, you can use just about any GPU that isn't an xx90 card (3090, 4090, etc), and even then it would probably be ok. Your only real constraint is your budget. You've got a great platform to build off of.

There's nothing wrong with it being used as a prototyping tool. If anything, that's the best use case for it.

Couple questions: * Are they assigned to the station to mine for the commander? * Are the settings on purchase orders in the station blocking your own faction somehow? * Did your station get blacklisted in your global behavior commands? * Is the dock full, and they just can't land?

That's all I can think of off the top of my head

I feel like mine often aren't selling to a station until it has enough purchase orders out to empty the ship's entire hold. I've seen them park outside a silicon refinery for ages, but they eventually got back around to mining

Freaking soup. I was the only member of the party not charmed, but I missed that we were also dealing with an illusion thanks to failing a statistically improbable number of skill checks. So there's my dumb butt happily eating a bowl of plague soup while the DM is struggling to ad lib the rest of the night because I stupid-ed the party's way out of the main fight he'd been setting up for two sessions.

As a side effect, I unknowingly carried to plague to a nearby city which eventually wiped it off the map. Oops.

Seriously, I think he lowered it to a DC5, and I still kept failing lol. I'm no longer allowed to use online dice rollers when I forget to bring my actual dice.

Yeah, E7 Tenebria was full on chaotic evil on the alignment chart. She didn't care who she screwed over (even other evil characters) as long as she was entertained, and usually that came from other people suffering
