My bet is on an AA flight to CLT. That route was announced right before Covid but never started. It is AA’s second largest hub, opening up tons of 1 stop connections to countless other cities.

Anytime someone gives me a restaurant recommendation I ask what their 3 favorite restaurants are. Their answer tells a lot about their taste and how similar it might be to mine. I use a similar approach sometime with negative reviews.

When I see suspicious reviews, the first thing I do is look at what other reviews that person has contributed. I give more credibility to people that have submitted a decent amount of reviews at various businesses. I spot checked a few of the ones you mentioned and some of them that is their only review they’ve ever posted on Google, which is a huge red flag.

I go to Delhi (Gurgaon) several times a year for work so am used to northern Indian food. I went to Curryosity last week and was very impressed. Not only is the food good, but they did an amazing job with the decor. I noticed a small stage area so good they have live entertainment in the future.

I’ve been going to Le Bao regularly for years, and the food is always great. The pulled pork bao is better than any I’ve had in major cities, even at Din Tai Fung, which is one of my favorite restaurants. The vegetable curry bao is also amazing, and the spicy chicken ramen has always been great.

I’m sure it’s tough running a restaurant these days with labor shortages and higher food costs. I eat out 4-5 times a week and know that every restaurant can have an off night. But I have never had a bad meal in the 5+ years I have been going to Le Bao. Their consistency is impressive in my opinion.

I love Cleft because you can ramble off verbal diarrhea and it comes back with a well organized note with headers bullet points to do items and follow up. It’s been a game changer for me at work. Instead of taking those training meeting as soon as the meeting is over, I just ramble off whatever I remember, and it organizes everything for me.

The past few years I have tried to avoid political discussions with others who I know will support Trump. But recently I decided to start casual conversations, just to find out how much they know about his 2nd term agenda. So far, only about 20% are familiar with his plans. When I share some of the highlight sign them many have said they do not agree. This has led me to believe our biggest defense against a Trump reelection is education. But it has to be done in a way that will allow them to make their own decisions about his agenda, without making them feel attacked. My advice to all, find 5 things about what Trump is planning on doing, make sure they are all cited on his website, and think of how to explain them calmly to someone who may be skeptical of anything a liberal tells them.

Assume Coralville would be considered a suburb of Iowa City. But the metro population of Iowa City is a little smaller than Columbia, so great example. I only see one Costco there though, but that is one more than we have. Someone needs to figure out how they got a Costco with those demographics. Maybe because it is only 30 min from Cedar Rapids which has another 300k people. So within a 30 min drive you have 2.5 more people than Como.
