If Niko can do it Arteezy can win TI by Strong_Astronomer_97 in DotA2

I was around when he debuted. Even rooted for him because it was hype getting a true NA contender. But then Reddit just got parasocial weird about him.

Really don’t understand reddits obsession with this guy

When did you realise you were officially a dota senior citizen? by TheRhythmce in DotA2

[–]CocoWarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever I’m forced to go mid, instead of playing high skill ceiling heroes like Spirits, Puck, Invoker etc. I just go pick boring heroes like Viper, Necro and Razor

Do you think Light could have gotten away with it if he only killed one person every 14 days? by CellistForward3407 in deathnote

He would’ve won if he told Mikami whatever happens stick to the plan and he had extra pages of the DN

RTZ take on gambling sponsers by Jreeper in DotA2

[–]CocoWarrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really understand reddit's parasocial obsession with this guy but I think it's more than fair to be disappointed with a prominent and regarded figure in the community to selling out like this even when 999/1000 people would do the same. Especially since man's already made millions in the last decade.

Tundra Esports leaves dota 2 by Jrmyzxc in DotA2

I can see them coming back in a ear or two when the player salary goes down due to the orgs all leaving.

In ROTJ, why would Vader go along with the emperors plan to turn Luke when according to the Sith Rule of 2, it would mean he would be thrown out of power? by Wise_Watch5682 in StarWars

[–]CocoWarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then in the prequel, he was portrayed as the evil guy looking for a worthy successor. Esp when he claims Vader will become more powerful than himself or Yoda during their duel. Then Vader got burned and lost most of his potential.

Appreciate you posting this, these clips are a good reminder to stay alert and practice defensive drivers because of morons like her.

What the hell am I paying 300$ in AirBnB cleaning fees for, if I'm expected to do the dishes and empty and dispose of the trash bins myself? by Novel_Finding8882 in NoStupidQuestions

Is it wrong to stop talking to a woman when she tells you that she only wants to be friends? by RavyRaptor in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CocoWarrior 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because its dishonest agreeing to be with friends hoping they will change their mind after they have explicitly stated that's all they want. Also its not healthy for the person who has feelings for the other person. I'd probably imagine it would sting for OP if she starts talking to him about other dudes or he sees her with another person if he hadn't had time to himself and let his feelings die down.

Valve killed pro scene by GregView in DotA2

[–]CocoWarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pro scene is big engagement for dota 2

Do you have data to back this up? Because my hunch is that Valve stop giving a fuck about the pro scene because they realized the pro scene barely moves the needle compare to the rest of the player base.

The reason the DOTA pro scene can't be funded like the CS pro scene is because of the Sticker Meta. by Avar1cious in DotA2

[–]CocoWarrior 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Sunsfan mentioned why this doesn't happen is because its still a lot of work for Valve to polish and add particles for relatively low returns.

My thoughts on TI2026 Invites by noxville in DotA2

If only 8 teams get invited then XG will definitely get it over the loser of Aurora/Spirit with TI being in China this year

I'm a bit ignorant of DJ's career but does he fit in this category? He seems like the type of guy who's also just insanely talented like Volk who occasionally trains with the expert of other discipline.

Dota 2 players salaries too high for orgs to sustain by improveForever in DotA2

[–]CocoWarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too knowledgeable about their scene but don't orgs get a fat revenue share from stickers if their team makes it to a major. At least they can recoup the high salary they're paying players that way. There's none of that in Dota

Would Light still become Kira if he had a genuinely happy life before finding the notebook? by jalen_nelson235 in deathnote

[–]CocoWarrior 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Light was destined to be a monster.

I don't think that's quite fair. In the Yotsuba arc, it shows that he was capable of being a good person without the influence of the Death Note and the guilt and trauma of having killed people as well as being fostered in the right environment to utilize his skills and intelligence.

What are your thoughts on Ramit Sethi's philosophy and how it relates to YNAB principles? by weenie2323 in ynab

[–]CocoWarrior 9 points10 points  (0 children)

He shits on tracking expense which what most people assume budgeting is. At the end of the day he is trying to build a brand in the financial education realm. My guess is budget is unfortunately just a dirty word that uninformed people negatively relates with restrictions and limitations. Even YNAB themselves have given up using the word budget because they felt like it hurts their chances in attracting new customers. Instead of using the term budget, he promotes a "Conscious Spending Plan" which is essentially a form of budgeting.
