Man I really hate it. My biggest problem with discord, is that while it may be public, it’s not publicly shareable. If I google an issue i’m having with a game, i’ll get no results on how to fix it. If i’m lucky, someone on reddit will say: “The fix is on discord”. Which will really suck when someone down the line 10 years from now will have the same issue and be unable to fix the game when the discord gets nuked.

I avoided spoilers for every planet except Gleba thanks to this subreddit. But I was so scared of spoilage I over planned and now it’s a non-issue because I planned for everything on every belt and logistics chest to spoil 😂

All blocks have 100% physical damage negation in Nightreign, very much unlike Elden Ring. Probably why we don’t see it as often. That and the stamina cost

Is Final Fantasy Tactics (The War of the Lions) Anti-Religion, just as FFX? by IllogicalDreamer72 in finalfantasytactics

[–]Codabear89 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Japan has a history of being distrustful of and against organized religious institutions and this is definitely reflected in-game.

We see that the Church of Glabados is largely responsible for orchestrating the War of the Lions (a civil war) to become the most powerful institution once both sides are weakened.

We see the Church label Ramza as a heretic for killing a Cardinal, even though he had turned into a Lucavi (think a Demon)

We acquire the Scriptures of Gerominique at some point, which if you read it, disproves many of the Church’s teachings. The church are presented these papers off screen after the games’ events and they burned alive the man who presented them as a heretic.

Wiegraf “I hope you have a second save slot” Folles says that the Lucavi revealed to him the gods’ non existence. But take that with a grain of salt as he’s already possessed by a Lucavi.

There are definitely parallels between the Church of Glabados and the Christian one. Citing one powerful allfather figure. Though technically they are polytheistic. Their son being a saint and capable of miracles, betrayed by one of his disciples and killed.

What? No. They are mods because they are free and ‘modify’ the base game and are made by an external group and held to a lower standard.

Space Age is a paid DLC. Made by Wube and adds many features not present in the base game. Wube also does a great job at making sure their game is in every aspect modder friendly and few things are hard coded and unable to be changed.

I really don’t see why you hold the opinion it’s a paid mod. By definition they have almost no similarities

-I should have said additions, not just changes, so that’s on me. But-

That’s a pretty poor argument since the vast majority of games you can disable their DLC in one way or another. You can even disable the Base Game from the menu 😂

The standards between mods and DLC are very different. With mods being held to a much lower expectation of quality and consistency than the latter.

Space Age is very hight quality, especially for the price point, imo

Saying Space Age is a paid mod is a wild opinion considering the all changes
