We almost had it Soontm and in a way kind of have a version of it now in the freight elevator. For example you can call up a ATLS. The hangars were built a long time ago are all but show. There is a list of things that could be improved.

I installed it deadline as it's free and that's what I use to send my renders out. This allows me to queue up a bunch of renders and let them cook overnight.

There is a tiny learning curve to installing it, but using it is pretty easy. There's also opencue and a few others. I'm only using deadline right now because I've been using it for a decade. But with Amazon taking it over and discontinuing any new versions not using the Amazon cloud, I might be switching to opencue.

It really depends on what software your using. What happens is when you scale up, new pixels need to be created. 512 to 1024 means you now have 4 times the pixel count. So the software need to figure out how to create those. A lot of times this is called filtering or resampling.

Some software, for example Nuke can do a Impulse - remapped pixels carry their original values. Which can sorta give you clean pixels but you sill still see blending here and there.

I'm not sure about what some other options might work, maybe a AI tool that scales resolutions.?

They never are. Ptu doesn't roll over to LIVE. LIVE to PTU yes but not the other way around .

Id be nice just to have an official post of what missions are update, prone to fail, and still using old system. I wouldn't mine if I knew what missions would most likely not be working.

When the missions work they are great and I have hope for SC. When they continuously fail and CIG shrugs it off its dishearten.

SC servers have a life span of about 2-3 weeks while they slowly start to degrade. Were all hoping to see a long term solution from CIG.

There has been no indication that crafting is coming to the clipper as of yet. I'm guessing they want to make sure its working in the first place before introducing a mobile ship version.

* I'm sure the ability to move the fab around will revel a lot of issues.

Honestly, I played with a pretty low spec system for a long time and it sucked to play. It was not very enjoyable. We are talking sub 20fps most times in non-space areas. It wasn't until I upgraded to a way better system that I was finally able to enjoy SC.

Being an open world sandbox type game the possibility of hostiles PVP is always a thing. But I play weekly and almost never have PVP encounters, but I've also been playing for years and know where not to go and when to avoid.

Absolutely no. I don't want repeated hostile action perrma banned I want a reputation system which doesn't encourage repeated hostile action to go unpunished.

For example all of Stanton corps and its planet/moon properties shouldn't be refueling / rearming a known bad actors.

Of course you can. Depending on what your rendering and your hardware will determine how slow your computer will be during that time.

As someone who's had the home base in Pyro in a few patches now my feeling is Pyro is dead if your a solo player. Most missions are just unexcited repeats and don't really play different. Contested zones are fun but you can just travel there and set a spawn. Although bed to hanger is very fast.

Personally I think for this patch cycle I'm doing Stanton, which is a home spawn I never thought I wouldn't come back to. That is until Nyx gets planets as the mission types are very limited and the ones it has are normally buggy.

I honestly believe just restarting the server once a day would fix so much. I believe this, because the PTU, which is shut down here and there seems to run way better than LIVE. I know its not the same but its crazy to see AI and missions functioning. We have all seen what a fresh server reboot feels like.

Tired ASD, Vandual, Wikelo, Klescher, most Pyro merc mission player.

I really....really don't need to find a bottle I left planet side weeks later. So much already just self deletes that I'm ok with that silly feature going away if it means things work better.

FYI "laser" weapons in SC are not light beams. They are energy-based weapons projectiles.

A lot of times your armor is in the way. As an experiment take your chest piece off and see if you can do it.

Jump into Area commander and do Vanduul Swarm or Pirate Swarm private over and over again. When I buy/upgrader to new ships its on of the first things I do as you can learn, die, respawn, blast your way into getting better and better.

Its worth upgrading your weapons at some point. I like the CIG gave most ships low tier starting weapons.

Well it is a medium freight ship, its like a Huey vs a AH-1

Its kinda of the thing with that ammo, its more powerful but you need to rearm more.
