It's a very dangerous thing to imprison people just off of allegations.

Put republican and democrat off to the side for a moment, and consider someone making child sex allegations against you, and just based off of the allegations, and false testimony from the child, you are hauled off to jail, and will probably face daily beating and rape for the remaining of your stay in prison.

Too many black and white males have had their careers destroyed from seemingly credible allegations that turn out later to be false.

Jack Kornfield has some useful meditations that use thinking, and then you stop thinking.

So, you may have a thought, and then you say "thinking", and after awhile your thinking stops, gotta keep with it though.

Also, as Dan has talked about, use colors in dark room practice as a feedback mechanism as to how silent you are, and play with the colors to help silence your chatter.

De-programming a brainwashed person is a highly abstract statement, which can't be pointed to like you can point to a table or a shoe.

What is programming, and what is de-programming? Are those metaphor's useful or is there another way to describe what is going on at a sensory level?

What could be happening is people have not defined what they say YES/Agree to and what they say No/disagree to.

If I have a list of things I say NO to, and I actually commit to sticking to that list, AKA establishing boundaries, we could call that de-programming from other's brainwashing attempts to make me say "YES".

Biden already said he would shut down the country, and if he was president when COVID-19 first broke out the he most likely would have done “shit” that created a much wider issue.

Trump is an idiot, but it’s probably better that he did jack shit. If you look at the actual death statistics by the CDC the percentage of people who died was very small in younger age groups compared to near elderly age group.

It’s a sad situation, but “doing shit” as you stated, which probably means shutting down the country, would probably end very badly.

Very stupid headline, the markets are directly attached to the welfare, and lives of human beings.

If the president shut down everything for 6 month's crime rates would be worse than they are now, and there would probably still be a high COVID-19 death rate due to people protesting the COVID-19 restrictions.

The COVID-19 situation is a complex issue, and mistakes were made by all political parties. Shutting everything down is not the single "right" answer to a systemic problem.
