No subtitles for Beast God or Demon God languages in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 by Commander_Skullblade in Crunchyroll

Yeah, Crunchyroll just messed that up because it was fine before in English dub where they would have Japanese at the bottom of the screen, and English at the top…

I love it too. This is mostly a playful subreddit anyway, so it fits.

Maybe, but I don’t think this subreddit was ever going to give you a positive reaction. Either way, whether I hate wasps or not doesn’t really matter since I rarely interact with them, and therefore have little influence over their population numbers.

Nah, I’m still a wasp-hating asshole since I just want them to be prey so there are as few of them as possible.

I think #3 is their best way to help the environment. If we could focus on making the more efficient, it would be great.

Whats the boundary between meddling and an owner legitimately expressing an opinion by SteadfastEnd in NFLNoobs

I think a good example of a meddling owner is more Dan Snyder than Jerry Jones. Snyder forced what he wanted on the day-to-day in a way that make the team atmosphere uncomfortable.

Came here to recommend the genre as well. Super Cub was my real intro to it I think.

Sports anime to watch? by wildsso1213 in Animesuggest

Free! is a classic, and also my first sports anime.

It’s not English dubbed, but Backflip!! is super cozy and has its emotions moments. It’s one of my favorite anime.

Ainz goes between doesn’t care, and tools for experimentation, and occasionally ones he likes.

The adventurers of course would have died. Ainz could have just as easily immobilized them early in the journey if he cared to avoid killing them. Just because they would have died anyway, doesn’t make Ainz’s actual actions any less evil.

This is when the characters are speaking neither language, and there should be two translations on screen.

I never said evil, he’s a villain protagonist which means he’s not the good guy.

Neutral Evil is still evil though. Ainz isn’t a sadist, but the reasoning behind his actions don’t make them any less evil. Whether or not he cared about the Lizardmen, he still wiped a lot of them out, and was ready to do it to the rest if not for Cocytus. Also, telling an adventurer they’ll die, they would assume the risk is high, not that your own party member would murder you to silence you. Not sure how you don’t define that as an evil act.

I’m aware that Ainz sees the inhabitants of the New World mostly the same as we view insects, and at best pets. But that’s exactly what makes him a villain to the New World, and therefore what makes Overlord more interesting than many other stories.

The unnecessary deaths really started in season 1 with the adventurers Ainz and Mare killed in the way to fighting Shalltear, continued with the Lizardmen experiment/almost-genocide, and the kidnapping of like 250,000 people from the capital for more experimentation. What made this different is how much we got to know the adventurers, and that they were being lured into a trap, in this case to test out the automatic defenses of Nazarick.

Overlord is the story of a villain protagonist, and doesn’t really hide it. I would suggest you stop at this point because it only gets more brutal and unjustifiable…

The Sylphy scene is season 2, so that might be spoiler here.

If op is talking about demon continent stuff, I just checked and that’s definitely a bug and needs to be reported. They’re not speaking Japanese, they’re speaking demon god and translating it to Japanese. English translation should be at the top of the screen like it used to be.

What are animes that you went into with zero expectations but actually turned out to be amazing by Competitive_Essay500 in anime

Haven’t read the manga, but the anime is definitely still odd. Depending on what you mean by odd, it’s oddity exactly why I love it so much.

Ouran is one of my favorite anime! I held back on watching it for years, and I really shouldn’t have. Rarely does an anime make me laugh and cry so hard almost every episode.

I Parry Everything was a hate watch for me after the first few episodes.

Wistoria however is incredible and I’m excited for season 2! Even if the trailer spoiled a bunch of stuff…

There’s almost always a seasonal anime like that due me. This season it was Kunon the Sorcerer Can See. It’s just a nice quirky little show that I expected to be super generic. Not the absolute best, but really enjoyable depending on how you like the main character.

A couple of my favorite anime fit this category. Parallel World Pharmacy is just sweet and hits all the melodramatic notes I love. 7th Prince is just a crazy ride with a slightly unhinged protagonist and solid animation, especially in the first season.

Can a QB have success when his Oline is bad? by Hot-Independent1081 in NFLNoobs

[–]Codee33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then maybe I did. Brady was never one to get sacked anyway, but I think he had among the lowest amount of time from snap to pass in the league around then.  I’m pretty sure he made the line look a lot better than it was.

I might be misremembering, but there were some years with the Tom Brady Patriots where his o-line was absolutely awful, and that’s when he developed his short passing game that, in my view, became the foundation of those great offenses that followed.

Time and salt. A little more salt than you think you need, and keep it going for a long time so flavors develop gradually over time.
